Canelo vs Crawford is OFF

Ginger never confirmed that he was fighting Bud to begin with, so how can a non confirmed fight be cancelled???

 

So do we get GGG vs Crawford now? I'm not joking either.

 

There were probably some serious negotiations going on, and it´s likely that the most important details were agreed to.

 

Canelo is basically retired, I expect something like Scull and then Jake Paul unfortunately.

I didn’t comment on the original announcement because I had a feeling it was going to fall through.

 

I actually hope it is off and Crawford comes to the realization that Canelo retirement fundraiser won't happen so instead fight Murtazaliev and Fundora for a third division undisputed and ride off to the sunset with glory.

 

I never heard Canelo or Crawford come out and confirm it when the news broke. I’m glad the fight isn’t happening. Canelo is too big and all people would have been reminded of is there are weight classes for a reason.

 

Canelo vs. Paul could very easily be a staged fight so that Paul would last all the rounds in order to get praise for how good a fighter he is...

 

I wish he would just quit, he's held up the 168 pound division for years

 

Unfortunately it seems that at least one of these two has not dared to be great.
Not everybody can be like SOG Ward, who, after cleaning out the 168 division showed how to dare to be great.
Fought Kovalev not once but twice.
Was in the same division as Beterbiev.
Was in talks for a GGG fight.
Was prepared to fight AJ.

I agree with the bolded. What is strange is that The Ring Magazine had posted that the fight would be taking place at the New Vegas Stadium, but that venue is already booked for a different event..
