I realize that Turki Alalshikh left a Tweet a few hours ago (as I was finishing this video) saying Canelo vs Crawford is off. Assuming that is not a part of the negotiation tactics at play, I still feel it's a relevant discussion, and something that could yet be in play, despite the apparent Tweet to the contrary. Cheers everyone! This content is protected
Good call on the scores of the Bud Madrimov fight, I had it 116-112 and thought it could have been one round closer but Bud did win , as to the Crawford Canelo match I agree with you , no, just no. Turki needs to use his vast amounts of cash and lure Canelo into the ring with Benavidez, if at all possible.
I like Bud way too much to want to see him fight anyone above 154. Bud had his hands full with the Tyson Fury jerky action from Mad. The amount of resets from Bud was astounding in my view as he rarely has to reset inside a round. Very good chess match and shows that Bud is still special and doing special things with his career. I still think 115/113 or a draw made more sense. I actually had the fight for Mad 115/113 but could see it the same for Bud or a draw as this was a tough one to score IMO. The best display of the sweet science. 168 is a No-Go for Bud. Might as well go for the biggest payday in history of boxing and challenge Bakole at HW
After watching the berlanga fight it's clear canelo has lost a couple steps and obvious why he continues to duck crawford and benny.
Canelo is going to be the first boxer ever to duck the best fighter at his weight and the best fighter below his weight at the same time.
I don't think size difference will really play a part here outside of Canelos power. After rewatching Canelo/Charlo and comparing it with Crawford/Madrimov, this is a tougher fight for Canelo than I previously thought. Canelo changing up his style for single big shots when walking guys down isn't good here Crawford has a suspect chin, and Canelo has suspect judges. Without these factors I would honestly take Crawford
Awesome. We can see who is right I think Canelo's size and physicality will trump Crawford's speed n skills. He might finally have an opponent small enough that his 'bicep bomb' will work.
