Canelo vs Crawford

Canelo is the better fighter, plus he' much bigger.

Canelo in 8, earlier if Bud stands his ground.

There' a reason Bud starts camp at 180, yet fought at 135/140 for so long as opposed to fighting at 147.

 

LOL I was just comparing the two fighters in my mind while I was driving in my car this morning, not only who would win but who's the better P4P fighter.

I mean I hadn't really even considered them fighting at Middleweight. Obviously Canelo would be a pretty big favorite just due to the size and weight advantage. For you to pick Crawford "clear on points" is hilarious. I mean Bud is an incredible talent but that's a big ask to go up to MW. Canelo would be heavily favored vs Bud, but it's a good debate as to who is the better P4P fighter. Personally I think Spence would have a better chance moving up to take on Canelo, but obviously Canelo would be heavily favored vs any welterweight moving up two weight classes.

 

Canelo knocks him out I'm sorry, Crawford is very overrated (top 5-10 p4p not number 2), still an incredible fighter but so is Canelo, I'd say Canelo ko in round 7 with Crawford winning 2 or 3 rounds.

 

Canelo is being so under rated here it's crazy. It's like when he fought Khan people actually though khan was "winning rounds" up to the ko.
Fact of the matter is canelo was setting him up the entire time. From round 2 through the very end canelo was in total control, out boxing Khan and the only one landing anything

Khan literally landed a handful, (1 have) a few clean effective shots . But because he was still standing that means he was out boxing canelo, boxing fans are the most entirely bias trolling fake fans or if all sports.

Both canelo and Crawford are elite fighters, and they're really not that far apart I'm actual size. Could definitely happen down the road, but I think Spence will come out at the top and be the one to dominate jmw and maybe win titles at mw

 

Canelo is an elite combination and counter punched plus he has a ot more physical and punch power.

If Bud was to beat Canelo then he'd have to fight the perfect fight....plus we know Canelo has a solid chin, he was never wobbled by a blown up 130lb fighter.

Again there is a reason why Bud stayed at 135 feasting on journeyman then only stepped up to 140 when all the top guys had moved to 147.

Yeah I agree. Bud did impress me vs Horn, a lot, but he's still very overrated with how much he's being hyped. Canelo would be too much for Crawford at Middleweight, and Canelo has a more well rounded skillset than Bud imho. Canelo's been in there with far better and more dangerous opposition than Bud it's not even funny. Bud is improving for sure, but he's not as smooth of an operator as Canelo. Bud is a very upright fighter, whereas Canelo has developed a more advanced set of skills. (uses upper body movement, is skilled at fighting off the ropes, is more skilled at blocking and slipping punches, is a bigger puncher than Bud, uses more variety of punches, etc)

His stamina problems are not "serious". He occasionally got winded vs GGG, and fans are overblowing it like everything else when it comes to Canelo. Vs Chavez Canelo stood between rounds for the entire fight.

I think you're delusional if you think Crawford could move up to Middleweight and beat Canelo, let alone Bud winning "clear on points". But hey, dream your little dream. Don't let me stop you believing what you think could happen.

It would be interesting though to see how that would play out. I know Spence mentioned that he wanted to move up eventually and fight Canelo. I just think Spence would have more of a shot vs Canelo because he's taller and has a longer reach. Bud's a smaller guy who just moved up to welter, so Canelo is a bigger bridge to cross for him than it would be for a guy like Spence.

 

Bud beat an domestic fighter in Horn. Let's get honest, Horn got a hometown Dec over a shot Pac. He is not an elite WW and Canelo is an elite middle. There is a reason why Bud cuts all that weight.
