You have somebody beating Canelo on points? :nonono You obviously haven't been watching boxing for long. Not even Crawford can beat Canelo's custom judges.

Current Bud vs the 2013 drained 152-lb Canelo that fought Floyd would have more a chance than vs current 160-lb Canelo.

It's an interesting point though with you comparing Current Bud to Floyd from 5-10 years ago, and we did see Floyd outpoint Canelo. But that was pretty much a perfect storm, to get Canelo down to 152, it took every ounce of Floyd's experience and gamesmanship for him to eek out a majority decision on Canelo. Bud is nowhere near as seasoned as Floyd was 5 years ago, and JMW Floyd is still bigger than Bud who just moved up from 140. But Bud did look bigger vs Horn.

I'll give you this : Bud from last night vs 2013 "152-lb" Canelo, he'd have a shot. But Bud from last night vs Current Canelo / 2017 Canelo who fought Chavez and GGG, little to no chance imho.

Crawford from last night stops the green and drained zombie Canelo that Floyd fought.

Zombie Canelo was not near his best. I think you may be right.

Considering two judges had GGG winning / getting a draw on Canelo after being comprehensively outboxed over 12 rounds, I don't know how custom they were for Canelo. I think you're just still a little "sore" over GGG not getting the result you expected him to get vs Canelo.

Trout, GGG, Lara, Floyd ... each fight had dodgy scorecards. :deal: It's a meme by now.

He'd have a better chance vs that version of Canelo for sure. I mean, Crawford from last night probably stops the Floyd who fought McGregor or even the dehydrated Floyd who fought Pacquiao too.

There's no doubt that Bud is a force to be reckoned with. But moving up to MW to fight Canelo is just too big of an ask.

There's no use trying to hide how sore you are over what happened last September. When you are in close fights, it's not unusual for judges to see and score fights differently. It happens in boxing since judging is subjective.

Canelo is a relatively low output fighter with high punch quality and sublime defense so many judges get confused when they watch his fights, they see his opponent out throwing but some judges cannot ignore the quality.

Let's not forget Bud is 3 years older than Canelo at 30. Bud isn't going to get much bigger unless he gets lazy. Canelo, by comparison, could finish his career at super MW.

Robberies are never nice. But, we predicted it.

I'm guessing Oscar helped to "confuse" them.

It wasn't a robbery since GGG didn't lose anything. No titles changed hands. But you bring up an important point : The fact that you ("we") predicted it. That's why you're so invested in complaining about the scoring. You predicted it and have too much pride to admit that you got it wrong and underestimated what Canelo could do in there. Technically, I don't think you predicted a draw because if there was a conspiracy to "rob" Golovkin, surely it would involve him losing a decision so Canelo would get the belts. That didn't happen so the draw robbery doesn't really make any sense with what you're alleging.

Whatever you need to tell yourself to perpetuate your judging conspiracy agenda.

 Nope, we all knew that there would be some dodgy cards ... and there were. T'ain't just me.

Correct, I thought that GGG would have to KO Canelo to win. He's actually lucky to get away from the Can-el-O-Vision judges with a draw and not a loss, even though he won the fight.

This. Canelo knocks Crawford out. Crawford still makes a lot of mistakes. Contrary to what Arum says Crawford is no Sugar Ray Leonard. Gamboa exposed a lot of the leaks in Crawford's game that still haven't been fixed. This biggest weakness in Crawford's game is him believing he's a good southpaw, when he isn't. Crawford should stay conventional against elite competition.

Canelo has already fought and beat better fighters than Crawford.
The best fighters on Crawford's resume are Postol, Gamboa, Indongo, and Ricky Burns. Everyone else on Crawford's resume are garbage.
