Does anyone believe iddy biddy Canelo could be the man @ 3 weights?

I don't think he gets within a country mile of Degale

    DeGale.

Alvarez isn't even a big puncher at JMW or MW, SMW would be open step too far for The Red Head imo. DeGale is also the better boxer, I don't see any area where Alvarez can win the fight.

There are none except a lucky punch, it's gotta be better than what Marquez did to Manny

Canelo is a middleweight. Naturally, he would probably lose to the super middleweight.

What's got to be better? His chances of winning, or knocking DeGale out cold?

His only chance is a knock out cold punch like Marquez did Manny, and even then it's gotta be better.

I don't know Marquez has always had good pop that followed him up in weight. Alvarez clearly doesn't have the same pop at Jr. Middlewweight as he did at Jr. Welter, so it's hard to imagine him having enough umph to blast one of the best SMW's in the world out cold. Just my opinion.

I know this is a hypoethetical thread, but heres some facts. Canelo has never fought a real middleweight let alone a super middleweight. Degale style is all wrong for Canelo. Degale is taller, longer reach and faster. Degale would probably weigh the same as Canelo as crazy as that sounds as Degale hydrates to the upper 170s (same as Canelo).

Exactly Canelo gets beat and badly. Even if Degale met him at 160

    So conce
Canelo only weighs 165-170, why do you think he has the 175lbs rehydration clause for Chavez jr.

GGG is like 180lbs he should fight someone his own size

I just watched Lemieux vs GGG again and was like what da fug, how does this guy weigh less than 160, FFS he was looking like Anthony Yarde in there and Lemiuex is a little bigger then Canelo!!!!!

Consesus seems that a Degale win for GGG is miles better then a Canelo win legacy wise.

GGG is only clearly trying to get the Canelo fight for money, zero to do with legacy

    GGG weighed 170 vs Lemiuex
Canelo weighed 174 vs Angelo and that was march 2014 nearly 3 years ago
    http://www.boxingnews24.com/2014/03/canelo-weighed-174-lbs-for-angulo-fight-last-night/
So I can imagine Canelo has gotten bigger since then. Upper 170s is not out of the question

We have been through these fight night weights and they are bogus as hell.

The tv companies just make them up, Cotto said he has never been weighed fight night and so did Canelo.

Remember Jermall weighing 158 when he's clearly 170s?

No fing way GGG was less than Lemieux, he was twice his size

How fitting, dispute the figures when they dont fit your narrative.
The Jermall Charlo weight was the IBF morning weigh in
As for Canelo, he's refused to weigh in pre fight since the Angulo fight
Say what you want about GGG-Lemiuex, but GGG has ALWAYS come in perfect under the scales
Lemiuex has been undisciplined and it has showed in the recent past

You can rehydrate plenty in 12 hours and no I didn't dispute the figures just to fit my opinion, that's what these other Muppets did and I had a good laugh.

Until they weigh them in the ring I am not going to be convinced especially since they are unofficial!!!!!!

GGG is a big sob, he's a huge middleweight.

The GGG huggers claimed unofficial weights as gospel and then hit the roof when Charlo weighed 158 calling bs!!!!

You classify a 5'10 individual who weighs less than 168 a month out from his fights, as a 'huge middleweight'?

You have a pretty unique definition of the word huge.
