GGG's resume is only considered poor because he totally dominates his opposition and doesn't need to go 8, 9, 10 rounds go get rid of C level opposition. I find it ironic how you keep banging the drum regarding GGG's resume yet CEJ is still fighting at British level. Let us know why CEJ went back to fighting British level after BJS beat him.
CEJ vs BJS was for the British title, in fact Chudinov was higher rated at the time then both and was considered a risky move???? People are talking about GGG growing old over night, oddly enough they don't say the same thing about CEJ I wonder why that might be?
I was never having a conversation with you, you took a post out of context as it was in response to another poster making reference to Marquez. You didn't correct ****, and you have to be one of the dimmest people I've been unfortunate enough to come across on any board. Alvarez is not a heavy hitter at JMW, he is a accumulation puncher unless he's fighting china chins like Kirkland or Khan. He's not going to be able to even bother any decent SMW with his "power" or lack thereof.
Because CEJ is content to fight British level opposition. Chudinov is overrated and after BJS he could have gotten a fight with GGG or even a fight with Jacobs was mooted but he's content with fighting British journeymen.
You can't act as if CEJ hasn't tried to make the fights though Look who the other top contenders and Champs have been fighting lately Jacobs eyeing up trilogies with Mora BJS fighting Akavov and nobody else for the last 13 months Lemieux fought Tapia and some bloke named Fabian Rios Derevyanchenko (who I rate highly) has a best win of 45 yo Sam Soliman Ndam has the best win against Blanco that was so bizarre, it leads me to question it. Pretty freakish 1 punch highlight reel KO that you see once a decade. Even GGG only beat Dom Wade (who had to mug 45yo Sam Soliman) and a welterweight CEJ beating Spike, Blackwell, Doran and fighting Quinlan stacks up pretty well in all honesty He even had chances to fight GGG and BJS that never quite came to fruition
I agree Eubanks Jr sucks but GGG comp isn't considered trash because he beats them easy they're considered trash because for the most part they are. Most of this guys wins while not as sh1tty as a Jr who quite frankly should keep shut until he beats somebody, these guys are known for losing to good fighters not beating them look at his best wins Brook a career Welter with one decent win to his name, the rest is British level comp. Lemuiex losses to journeyman and no top level win to speak of. Geale soon after got demolished by Cotto in similar fashion. And Murray who quite frankly is known for losing tough to good comp. Outside of Geale you can't find a guy GGGs best who has a top level win. It's honestly not just GGG though 75% of the most hyped guys nowadays either have only one good win, or no good wins they just aren't called great for the scrubs they beat like Golovkin is. Now you can claim duck or whatever but if your not willing to make some type of concession to get a quality fight your not being ducked. Every fighter calls out the top names that's what your supossed to do, but if you don't do anything to actively make the fight they aren't ducking your just not doing enough.
Coming back to a thread like this years later to flex your “boxing knowledge” is clown stuff…. Things are way different now… Imagine saying Canelo would beat Kovalev before the second Ward bout.
