There's absolute zero chance that Canelo can stop Eubank who's as tough as they come, just like his dad. Anyone who voted for a Canelo win by stoppage clearly knows very little about Eubank. I think there's a chance that Jr can outwork Canelo as Jr is now super fit and never stops coming forward. Would be a good fight for sure.

To say there's 0 chance is silly, really. Canelo counters extremely well and the way Jr lunges forward is a counter puncher's wet dream. He was rocked by O'Sullivan (though not on ***** street) so I'm unsure as to where this mythical iron chin has come from. He's proven to absolutely not be chinny, but like his Dad? Not yet.

I see Canelo countering well on the backfoot all night long. Eubank Jr hasn't been in there with anyone on Canelo's current level.

Decision either way would be no surprise. Both have good chins and average (below avg for Eubank) power. Eubank throws alot and has a good engine... Canelo not so much. Would be a good match up.

So are you predicting Groves to beat Jr by stoppage?

    Yep.

I've been a pretty big Jr detractor but I'm slowly coming round to be honest. A win over Groves makes him legit as **** so I'll happily admit being wrong, as I often have to at the start of every week.

Gassing against Eubank who has the best stamina in the game is suicide, this fight would end very badly for Canelo.

Im not saying i think jr would win this or that canelo doesnt have a good chin but he has been more than wobbled before. Cottos brother dropped him HARD in the first round of their fight.

Lol nah i wouldnt necessarily it does because Canelo was very young back then i think 18 and was his first highly televised fight. He showed unreal resolve in finishing the round and wrecking cotto later on so if anything helps your point if anything imo.

Nearly a decade ago. Canelo was 19 years old and made a silly mistake against a seasoned vet, paid for it, but came back stronger and smarter for the remainder of the fight until he TKO'd Jose Cotto. Since then Canelo has fought respected power punchers in Cintron, Mosley, Cotto, Angulo, Kirkland, and Golovkin.. All whom failed o even stagger Canelo.

    You're grasping at straws.

Agree that Canelo wins by a margin ...but its not just Jnr that gas gassing problems ...rewatch GGG & Alvarez, Rnd 3 & Alvarez is gassing! But yes I would love to see Canelo absolutely school Eubanks up to the 12th then KO him in the 2minute...but TBH I think it would be a Alvarez points win.
