Another poster mentioned this would be one of the most entertaining fights that could be made and I totally agree. Only problem being jr can in no way make Canelo weight (he barely makes 160) so we have to assume its @ 160.

Both have decent pop in their punches but i think Canelo edges it in power.

Both have decent chins, but I think Canelo seems a fair bit sturdier tbf.

Eubank jr has the quicker hands and feet.

Stamina is jr by some distance.

I have Canelo as favourite because he has a much higher ring Iq at this stage and is much harder to hit. He also seems to have the judges in his pocket but we can assume for this match its neutral.

If jr boxes Canelo and doesnt stay in the pocket too long, i reckon he could win. I see this going to decision with jr taking a few rounds but Canelo a decisive winner.

The fight is action packed, jr outworking him the whole fight but canelos quality edging most rounds

    From what I've seen?

Eubank Jr. wins if they fight.

Eubank stops him 8-10 too quick and too fit for Canelo

Canelo struggles with movement and jr has great movement so he can give him problems. Only thing is jr loves to go to war because he loves to entertain which could cost him

nothing to do with this matchup or how it would turn out but i watched eubank jnr have a proper sparring session with froch on you tube and the man will not be intimidated no matter who he faces

Eubank Jr isn't on Canelo's level yet. I think he will be before long.. but not yet.

Good measuring stick of how Canelo can do with a big MW.

No way, CEJ fights down at 155

Canelo has good ring skills and timing but not that quick on his feet or his punching.

I think size, power and athleticism of CEjr will give him the victory but it's not a sure fire thing. 65/35

Where does this idea that Eubank gasses come from.

Against Saunders, he was the one coming on strong at the end

Im not even slightly impressed by Eubank. He doesnt do a single thing better than Canleo...except he's a couple inches taller. Hell, he's not even undefeated on the British level....

Canelo beats him easy in a fight thats not mildly interesting.

Disagree win lose or draw Eubank jr is an all action fighter, Canelo is also exciting when he has the right dance partner.

This fight would be legitimately entertaining, if Eubank jr can take his game up a level this would be a fight of the year candidate!

I like Eubank and don't like Canelo. Can't believe people favour Eubank though.

That was impressive. Most would have shown him too much respect.
