Canelo vs Eubank possible

Pathetic

 

Might be worth it to rid us of junior.

 

A couple of years ago it might have been acceptable as a tune up fight and a showcase in the UK if Canelo wanted to fight over there but now it is just pathetic. Eubank's main attribute was his chin and that was cracked by the much smaller Liam Smith.

 

I've been a big fan of Canelo over the years, and have supported him when others haven't, but I'm not happy about this situation at all.

He should man up and fight Benavidez, but he clearly doesn't want to, and demanding $150 - $200 million to fight him is a bad look. He has no good alternative opponent that is available for September. Morrell and M'billi, the two next best opponents at SMW, have fights in August.

Short of fighting Benavidez, I would advise Canelo to not fight in September, and try to arrange a fight with either Morrell or M'billi for later this year. Fighting Charlo, Berlanga, or Eubank instead of Benavidez is going to look really bad. If he's not going to fight Benavidez, then he should fight the next best contender at SMW. Someone who's a legitimate threat to the throne.

 

It's all,about ,legacy now for Canelo. He's reaching for immortality now.

 

I seriously don’t know what Canelo has against fighting Benavidez. Bivol is bigger and better than David and Canelo happily chose that match, it’s just weird. I think he might just be realizing his physical limitations. Couldn’t hurt Bivol or a shot GGG. He didn’t stop Munguia or Mell, two guys he had huge stylistic advantages over. Couldn’t stop Ryder either, which seems excusable, but even he was passed it and a bloody punching bag for most of the bout. He just might not be confident in his firepower anymore.

If he can’t stop Eubank it’ll be beyond pathetic, and we can just kiss away the thought of a Benavides fight.

 

He realizes Benevidez is a real threat. Guys like Berlanga, Charlo and now CEJ, those are easy money fights, little to no risk involved. Benevidez has a real shot at beating him and he knows it. Canelo is making a big mistake not fighting him now because DB is only going to get better while Canelo older.

 

If hes ducking Benavidez why doesn't he just fight Scull his mandatory so he can keep all the belts. That's a pretty bad fight but a mandatory so it's necessary. Scull is an unknown at least so the fight may be competitive

 

Would this even make money?

 

When did Floyd ever pull anything like this? At least Floyd fought guys coming off of big wins or their career best wins.
Eubank got revenge on Liam Smith
Jermall beat Jose Benavidez Jr in his last fight, his only fight these past 3 years.
And Berlanga beat some old Irish lad.
