Canelo vs Fernando Vargas???

They are certainly comparable in offensive skills, boxing IQ, and stamina. I would give Alvarez an edge just because his chin is better than Fernando's.

 

To piggyback on that Vargas fought far larger and better competition. Canelo chin can be cracked.

I think Canelo is all around a significantly better fighter. I think he could beat Trinidad at 154, and Vargas obviously could not.
