Nice vid Rummy, look at Canelo v Kirkland clip that’s the Canelo GGG would love to see as he wants to trade.
I’ve got a feeling you’re right re Golovkin, faster start, land more right hands, attack the body and cut off the ring more.

Exactly what i predict. Bodyshots are the key too victory for GGG. He either gets a stoppage in the middle rounds when Canelo slows, or he makes the later rounds alot easier for himself.

The fact you saw Canelo slow dramatically between 4 and 8 WITHOUT bodyshots kind of makes you wonder if GGG starts fast and works the body, hows he gonna feel between 4-8..

    GGG by late TKO

Golovkin and Sanchez wanted to have the fight at Madison Square Garden, New York, but Oscar and El Pollo refused, they insisted on the fight being in their territory Vegas where Oscar's judges, referee, boxing commission will be there for them. Golovkin knows he will have to knock El Pollo out to get a draw! The last time Oscar's referee would not allow Golovkin to land body shots, yes, no legal body shots at all...............Golovkin knew he could not lose a point, and if you remember, when has Golovkin ever landed low blows like SOB Ward for example? Never..............he is accurate with those punches. Hopkins let the cat out of the bag when he said that El Pollo will fight Golovkin exactly like SOB Ward, with body blows, CODE FOR TESTICLE BLOWS, look out for Tony Weeks to be the referee or Lawrence Cole.................Golovkin should wear a cup with shock absorbers...................just in case. Bob Bennett's favorite judge is Byrd, he told me she was one of the best judges judging boxing today and that she had never had a bad card, except for that night. Well, Byrd has had many bad cards over the years, she should be banned for life, but she is back to judging fights again! I had the first fight 8 rounds to 4 Golovkin, Harold Lederman had it 8 rounds for 4 Golovkin, Paulie had it 9 rounds to 3 Golovkin, even Nacho Beristain had Golovkin winning the fight. The vast majority of fans had Golovkin winning the fight, they booed the decision, they booed El Pollo................even Mexican fans.................Oscar had said before the fight that there would be three fights, so a draw was expected....................I just hope this fight will be fair, on the level, not corrupt...............what's wrong with neutral judges, referee, boxing commission? Whatever, I think Golovkin will win this fight, I hope by knockout or TKO, I think he and Sanchez know they have to get a knockout to get a draw, plus, Golovkin has watched the fight and has a plan, we will see. Golovkin has faced many different styles, he can adjust, although Oscar would not allow Golovkin to fight so as to keep him inactive..............Golovkin can box, no doubt about it and he can go 12 rounds without gassing................my only worry is Oscar's judges and referee....................

Good video Rummy, I see it the same way you do, especially the GGG is the guy with room for improvement, and will make those necessary adjustments in the rematch part. GGG fought a terrible fight and played right into Canelo's hands and still beat him on my card as well, 116-112, so if GGG makes even the slightest tweak in his gameplan, that may be all he needs. GGG by SD, MD, UD or late TKO. One way or another I think GGG gets his win.

And if G doesn't win, you can always just scream robbery and say that Oscar told the judges how to score it and what not, so either way you're covered.

Or if Canelo gets another gift, YOU can run around on this site like a stark raving maniac pleading your case to any Canelo fanboys and lemmings who'll listen, who are more than willing to open themselves up to any line of bull**** that you're selling because it validates the biased delusion in their head that Nelo actually won. You're selling confirmation bias, and they're buying.

Good video and good line of thinking.

I also do think that if Canelo hasn't been down in the fight, Golovkin has to be relentless in attack in 11 and 12 trying to force the issue.

Great video I near enough agree word for word, nearly. Canelo is a slightly better boxer than golovkin and would of countered him all night long but golovkin breaks you down punch by punch, all his shots are juddering and hurtful and canelo was getting broken down and had to take less to survive and to take less he had to do less.

Canelo can slightly improve, they have now shared a ring so he must of picked up a few tells from ggg.

Golovkin though, in all the things you stated in your vid, can do more.

Golovkin has true power at middleweight. He can hurt you. All the way hurt.

For me, it basically boils down to the fact that I think Gennady can do better through tactical adjustments, whereas I think Canelo needs to be physically better conditioned. So I think GGG can make the type of changes that are easier and more practical to actually adjust, whereas I don't think Canelo can do much to considerably improve his activity rate.

But then again, as you stated Canelo undoubtedly learned some cues from Triple G, and Canelo doesn't need to throw THAT much more to be successful. Taking a page from Ray Leonard's book in the Hagler bout is something that could go a long way for Canelo (and I wish I had thought of that when I was working on the episode - because I don't think Canelo needs to throw a ton more - but I do think consistently throwing just a little more benefits him).

Great work Rummy! I can't help but think that Golovkin was surprised by Canelo's power early on and that made him hesitate to press too much. He didn't want to expose himself too much early on, which led to him being slightly outboxed, therefore giving away those first few rounds. He realized that he had to grind through that though, and that is when he started to do his better work. Canelo stayed competitive throughout and was even able to pick up the pace late in the fight (which was surprising).

If Golovkin presses more early (which I agree with you that he needs to do) he may absorb more damage from the slick counterpunching Canelo. But, Golovkin has shown nothing less than a granite chin, so I believe the risk is necessary. After going 12 with Canelo, Golovkin knows he hits hard, but he also knows he can walk through it. I believe that experience will help him implement the three keys you highlighted and I agree with you that he will come away with a decision victory this time.

Looking forward to another great fight between two of the best in the world!

Thank you Rummy as I have missed your videos!!!!
Now down to the business :headbash

If GGG fails to adjust and do what you pointed out I expect another controversy scorecard or a clear win by Canelo
I can’t understand why GGG gave away the first rounds and then worse was avoiding the body. Canelo has youth on his side and it’s easier to teach a pup new tricks vs the old dog.
Excited for this fight but feel Canelo might edge the older guy this time around

For the record I had the first fight 115-113 GGG
