Canelo would have the upper hand, GGG would be drained. Canelo by close decision.

    No need to vote,

I don't see this happening with the WBC demanding a mandatory defense of the belt.

In all seriousness, why would the WBC demand Canelo make a mandatory defense of his 160-lb belt after letting Floyd hold the 154-lb belt for 2 years without having to defend it?

GGG is a better fighter, if he's not drained too much he beats Canelo but it's not an easy fight for him.

I think Canelo will survive against 155-pound Golovkin, but Golovkin's advantage will be too clear for two of the judges to cheat. Golovkin by SD.

Golovkin would win off the jab alone in this fight, but I think the CW would take too much from his power and allow Canelo to last the 12 rounds.

    Golovkin within 4, tops.

If Golovkin has 75% of his normal energy and power levels, I think he makes seriously quick work of Canelo.

I'd agree with this. :thumbsup How much more quickly would he dispose of Canelo at 100%? I'm curious of your prediction. What round do you think Canelo would go at say 157 then at 160?

If it was at the full 160, I'd say about the same amount of time maybe a round quicker, but probably wouldn't last long. I don't see GGG having many problems finding the mark on Canelo, and I can't see Canelo taking his power well. Perhaps Canelo is tougher and more durable than I'm crediting him for, but I never thought Canelo or especially Cotto were any match for Golovkin - and last night's fight just reaffirmed my previous beliefs.

Sometimes even Rumsfeld makes sense, like a dead clock showing correct time twice a day :)
