If this fight happens, it'll be at 168. Canelo isn't jumping from 175 to 160. And at 168 Canelo lays a beating on GGG, possibly getting a late mercy stoppage from the corner or the ref.
Sorry to say, but Canelo beats (for the first time) GGG at 168. GGG taking too many body shots and Canelo hits way harder to the body than Murata. 12 round UD for Canelo, and this time there won't be any contraversy.
The shot he just stopped Murata with was fairly similar to how he caught Canelo in fight II. Probably something there.
No way ggg is winning a 3rd time...none. If he takes the fight...which he will ..then he has to go in there JMM style.... absolute last stand ....go for the ko...all or nothing
Probably this. GGG has beaten the Mexican twice, and he was past prime both times. And he is still a top middlewt with a couple of belts who would beat anybody not named Canelo But at 40, he has slipped too far to beat an ATG in his prime. So, other than for a big payday, he has no reason to fight Canelo. BTW, it's far from certain Canelo gets past Bivol. If the Bivol fight was ta 175, Canelo would be the underdog.
I thought GGG won both previous fights. I was looking forward to the potential Trilogy and would be rooting for GGG to win. However after GGG peformance today, he clearly isn't the fighter he once was and I believe Canelo stops him now.
I think Golovkin was fantastic against Murata. He will definitely KO Canelo in the 3rd match. Remember, Canelo is damaged goods now, after all those hard battles against light heavyweights and super middleweights. I wonder how much vitality Bivol will take away from him. Golovkin will fight a broken man in the 3rd match. Let's watch again how good Golovkin was against Murata, he fights more vicious than ever: This content is protected
