Who would win if they fought for a fourth time? Ryder gave him good work and is probably past his prime
GGG at 32-33 versus any Canelo is likely a problem. I say likely because it never seemed that age was GGGs impediment. GGG actually OUTBOXED Canelo in fight 1. GGG landed very little outside of jabs but he had Canelo gunshy...GGG shouldve won 8-4 or even 7-5 but 6-6 was very generous...not quite a robbery though. Obviously that one card was illegal but oh well. Second fight was war of attrition and if Canelo tried that versus younger GGG it quickly wouldve gone south imho. Nonetheless the same holds true that it was never GGGs reflexes or stamina or speed that gave him problems. It was always hitting Canelo clean with anything other than a jab.
Golovkin is too old now. UD Canelo again. Top shape version of GGG between 2009 and 2014 KO's any version of Canelo.
This and Golovkin has never won a fight at 168, and didn't look great at the weight either. Also factoring into Golovkin's age it's a no brainer Canelo by decision.
Golovkin beat him clearly the first time. Second fight an argument can be made for Golovkin win, though it was closer. Third fight Golovkin lost. So we can see as Golovkin gets older his performances get worse against Canelo. That's exactly why Canelo aged him of course. I think Golovkin was dumb (legacy-wise) to take the third fight unless he was going to go for the KO.
