In MY opinion, canelo vs ggg is not the biggest fight in boxing, as oscar claims. He says he wants to wait a while for it to marinate. Let's say 1 year (which would be the least he's gonna wait imo) the fight between: Anthony Joshua vs Deontay Wilder is bigger than Canelo vs GGG. It will do more PPV buys worldwide, guaranteed KO. More public interest.
well yes..from a pure matchup standpoint....as far as two p4p guys going at it i have a feeling the OP is referencing revenue
I agree that right now the biggest fight is Ward/Kovalev. Winner of this fight is undisputed #1 p4p in my book
1.GGG vs Canelo 2.Kovalev vs Ward/Stevenson/Beterbiev 3.Fury vs Klitschko/Joshua 4.Gonzalez vs Estrada/Inoue 5.Brook vs Khan 6.Crawford vs Postol 7.Wilder vs Povetkin 8.Parker vs Haye/Ortiz/Joshua 9.Thurman vs Bradley 10.Frampton vs Santa Cruz 11.Eubank Jr vs Saunders 12.Glowacki vs Drozd 13.Andrade vs Lara 14.Lomachenko vs Rigondeaux 15.Vargas vs Salido 16.Selby vs Russell Jr. 17.Spence vs Thurman 18.Khytrov vs Murata 19.Degale vs Ramirez/Jack
the biggest fight in boxing on this forum and the biggest fight in boxing worldwide to attract huge PPVs are 2 totally different things , ward and kovalevs fan base is non existent compared to certain other fighters and only hardcore boxing fans would pay to see it , if you want huge PPV buys then you have to attract the casuals , casuals will not pay to see andre ward !!
