Kostya Tszyu as well. The difference to me is that these guys weren't saying anyone from 154-168 would get it, and then swerve real challenges when they did come, they stood in their divisions, and fought everyone who challenged them. Golovkin didn't, they even said NO to Charlo. I get not wanting to fight someone for whatever reason, but at least fight a higher caliber opponent. I don't like the way Golovkin handled his career at all, it turned me off to him. This may be hard to believe to some but I was a Golovkin fan when he first came to the U.S., I was hyping him up to all my causal friends, around the time of the Rubio fight I started losing interest, mainly because he was not living up to the hype HBO had been giving him, sure he was KO all his opponents, but when push came to shove he was not willing to take risks, even Mayweather took more risks, and Mayweather is very calculated. I went to the Rubio fight, it was a nice event, but it left you with a feeling like "so?"..... GGG has had many opportunities to take risky fights, even at 160, but he's just not that type of fighter, he's extremely calculated.
I don't find it hard to believe you were a Golovkin fan at all. All I ever want is a boxer to fight the best. In 2016 these two were the two highest ranked MW fighters in the world, hence the thread.
He said "if we fight, It'll be for honour, not for the belts", in the very same statement where he said he'd fight at 160, that there's no weight issue. That's where you lied, when you claimed Canelo only didn't fight Golovkin in 2016 because of the weight issue contradicting with Canelo himself, that's why you're a lying nuthugger. https://www.badlefthook.com/2016/5/...res-no-weight-issue-ill-fight-golovkin-at-160 And I definetly hold every fighter to same standards. Just like when I criticized Canelo for fighting Chavez Jr at 164 right after saying that his body wasn't ready to fight at 160 the same way I criticized Golovkin for being ready to fight at 168 against Froch and Chavez but not against Ward, unlike all the goons who championed one and slammed the other.
