Pacquiao was out weighing lightweights in his featherweight days, doesn't mean he'd be able to beat them.

In boxing there is a thing called "weight acclimating".

According to you maybe, i wont break down and analyze every moment, but i had round 1 even, 2 and 3 for Canelo, 4-11 for GGG and round 12 for Canelo.

With Canelo he gets a little help from PED'S, as verified.

    https://www.bloodyelbow.com/2015/10...ll-only-fight-golovkin-at-155-lbs-boxing-news

Check the date - Oct 15, 2015. This was before he fought Cotto.

"If he wants to fight with me, let him come down to 155 and I'll fight him whatever day he wants."

"At this moment, my body isn't ready for 160 pounds. Maybe 1 or 2 more years I'll be ready for 160, I don't know, but I'd be delighted to fight someone like Gennady. He's a great fighter and I think it would be a great fight. I'd be delighted to get him in a fight."

So, at that time, he said he wasn't ready for 160 when he gave that statement in Oct 2015, but by May 2016, when asked about it after he fought Khan he stated that 160 wouldn't be a problem. That's 7 months later. You acted like he said his body wasn't ready for 160 then right after he said that decided to fight Chavez Jr at 164 lol. That was a LIE by you.

He said in Oct 2015 that his body wasn't ready for 160 yet. He said at that time that MAYBE in 1 or 2 more years he'll be ready for 160. He didn't fight Chavez Jr until May 2017 that's over a YEAR AND A HALF after he made that statement about how his body wasn't ready for 160 yet. That's exactly between the 1 or 2 years he said back in Oct 2015 that it would take until he would be ready for 160. So stop lying and saying that Canelo said he wasn't ready for 160 then turned around and fought Chavez right after he said that lmao. Understand the time it took between when he said that to when he fought Chavez Jr. What he said was that his body wasn't ready for 160 yet, at that moment in time, back in Oct 2015, but he said in 1 or 2 years he'll be ready. And true to his word within that 1 or 2 years he moved up to 160. First to fight Chavez, then to fight GGG.
It's not a lie beacuse in Oct 2015 Canelo said his body wasn't ready for 160 he said he needed 1 or 2 years before he would be ready. 7 months later after he fought Khan, he was being pressured to move up right away, before he said 7 months earlier that he would be ready to move up. He said the weight of 160 wouldn't be a problem, he was planning on moving to 160 to fight GGG but he wasn't going to be rushed or dictated to to get him to move up before he was ready to.

Canelo’s offer for a non-title fight with GGG after he fought Khan doesn’t exist either, that’s another garbage you pulled out of your ass, trying to distract from the original lie with more lies.

You're the one lying who said that Canelo said his body wasn't ready for 160 around the time that he moved up in weight to fight Chavez. You pretended like that happened at the same time, when in reality it was over a year and half later from when he said that to when he moved up and fought Chavez.

About the Non-Title fight, see this article :

    https://abcnews.go.com/Sports/canelo-alvarez-vacates-title-deadline-seeks-ggg-bout/story?id=39235568

"After much consideration, I instructed my team at Golden Boy Promotions to continue negotiating a fight with Gennady 'GGG' Golovkin and to finalize a deal as quickly as possible," Alvarez said. "I also informed the WBC that I will vacate its title."

The sides still had many issues to address, and the fight was unlikely to be finalized by the purse bid, so Alvarez vacated the title but said he still very much wants to fight Golovkin.

"For the entirety of my career, I have taken the fights that no one wanted because I fear no man," Alvarez said. "Never has that been more true than today. I will fight GGG, and I will beat GGG, but I will not be forced into the ring by artificial deadlines."

"I am hopeful that by putting aside this ticking clock, the two teams can now negotiate this fight, and GGG and I can get in the ring as soon as possible and give the fans the fight they want to see."

    GGG comments :

Golovkin happily accepted his new status but said he believes Alvarez will still fight him.

"I'm honored to be named WBC middleweight world champion," Golovkin said. "Canelo is a warrior, and I know we will still fight because that's the fight the fans want to see."

So even GGG himself did not consider Caenlo vacating the belt cowardly. He still called Canelo a warrior and said he knew that they will still fight. It was just the ticking time clock of the WBC timetable after he fought Khan that Canelo or his team could not make the deal by. So he was forced to vacate.

I was talking about him fighting Liam Smith at 154, his team saying that he’s still a jr MW, only to jump even higher than MW in his next fight.

And yes, Canelo did say the GGG fight would have to happen at 155 7 months before he said fighting at 160 was no issue, while originally he was demanding the Cotto fight at 156 instead of 155. Which is no big deal, fighters say **** all the time.

You talk about reasonable. How close in your mind were rounds 4, 5, 6, 10, and 11 in the first match? Is it unreasonable in your mind to score some of these rounds for Canelo?

No, you cited the quote where he said his "body wasn't ready for 160 yet". That quote was from Oct 2015 which was before he fought Cotto not when he fought Liam Smith a year later. Just admit it, you were lying trying to make it seem like he said that right before he moved up to 164 and fought Chavez. I fact checked you on this. In actuality it was over a year and a half later from when he said that to when he moved up to 164 to fight Chavez, which was right in the range of time that he said he said it would be before he would be ready to move up.

What part of this is “offer”? He says he’d still like the fight even without a title, goes on to face Liam Smith for a jr MW title, Oscar tells everyone fight makes more sense in the fall of 2017. There was no offer for a fight before that.

And I didn’t remotely imply that Canelo was a coward, don’t put words in my mouth just because you’re getting butthurt over the slightest criticism of Canelo.

So it turns out that it wasn't Delahoya's idea after all.

I didn’t know the date of the quote, couldn’t be bothered to look it up. I’m sure there’s a difference between GGG trying to make a fight with Chavez at 168 and talking about a catchweight to fight Ward. You won’t see me get emotional over it though.

I don't think there was ever an official offer to fight him at 155 for a non-title fight, he was just saying that if GGG didn't want to wait, and was willing to come down in weight to make that fight happen, as GGG said he was willing to do, then we can fight right away at 155. But Canelo made it clear that he would have no problem fighting GGG at 160, just that he wasn't ready to move up to 160 yet. So it was GGG's choice, either wait until Canelo moves up to 160 OR fight him now at 155. GGG chose to wait until Canelo moved up to 160 which worked out better anyway because so many fans were sick of catchweight title fights.

Lost in all of this is the fact that Canelo did the right thing. Rather than do what Cotto did and drain MWs to catchweights, or demand GGG fight him at 155, he gave GGG a choice. He recognized that he did not win the MW title at 160, he vacated the belt, and then went up to challenge GGG properly for all the belts at the full 160. Imagine the excuses had he fought GGG at 155. It was better they fought at 160.

You got pretty emotionnal over calling IsaL a liar and making blatantly false statements.

Now you claim you "didn't know the date of the quote" lmao. But you sure acted like you did when you said -

RIGHT AFTER? OCT 2015 ----> MAY 2017. A YEAR AND 7 MONTHS LATER.

No, not unless you are trying to give Canelo the decision. Canelo raised his game in the last three rounds, but so did GGG. He stood toe to toe for the first minute, then won the next two minutes. Only in round 12 did Canelo do a little better than GGG. Thats the way i see it. Both great fights, wrong guy came out ahead in the series, but the writing was on the wall for a long time, so it really should come to no real surprise.
