Canelo vs Golovkin is for the real p4p 1 spot rather then Ward vs Kovalev

Canelo is not a P4P fighter. He is a very lucky boy who has a very clever, devious and money hungry promoter.

I think they're both more skilled than Canelo and so if they were the same size would beat him. I'm not sure what you don't understand about that. Do you understand the concept of how pound for pound rankings work?

They wouldn't even beat him that convincingly today, but if we could give Canelo 3 weight divisions more size I doubt that big time.

Nah, Ward vs Kovalev is for the true P4P title. Both are proven in this equation, not just one.

so if the canelo vs Golovkin fight happens and if GGG knocks him out you will give him major credit?

Lay off the pipe. Ward would 12-0 Canelo whilst Kovalev separates him from his senses quickly in brutal fashion.

Canelo is a big weight cutter and they're hardly the type to maintain their level of success on a level playing field.

Credit most definitely, it is a great win
But p4p it is lessened because GGG is so much bigger.

Kind of like Ward going up and beating Kovalev gives him more p4p credit than if Kovalev beats Ward

GGG beating Canelo can't put him past Ward beating Kovalev but it may put him equal to Kovalev if he beats Ward

What rubbish are you on about Canelo is a 154lbs fighter, that is his division natural to him. He gets rated amongst his peers in that division no matter how much you think he cuts.

Therefore we have to assume he adds another 21lbs and a few inches height and reach. Amongst his peers he is a beast.

Only a total moron wouldn't take into account a fighters ability or lack there of to weight cut when evaluating their status pound for pound. I'm sorry if that doesn't support your position that Of Cannelo being a pound for pound great but your thoughts and feelings are of no concern to me.

I think Ward and Kovalev have better skill sets and that Kovaleve hits harder when compared to his fellow LHWs than Canelo does compared to LMW MWs. That's my opinion. Rock and roll deal with it.

Keep drinking the cool aid. Canelo will weigh a similar amount if not more come fight night should they ever actually fight.

Not sure about that. Beating Ward convincingly or by KO could make a case for #1 in my books. IIRC, Ward was already #1 for a while. Beating Kov would just put him back on the list.

Pure GGG cum guzzler, Canelo will be minimum 5lbs less, Canelo is a big 154lber but GGG is a big 160lber
