I don't normally say much about commentary but Carl froch. He struggled with pretty much everything. He scored it a draw which is wrong but ok. The problem was everything he was saying irritated me. His knowledge is way below what it should be. I like to listen and learn something or they pick something up that I never picked up on. I could have done a better job than that.

Froch is the worst pundit/commentator in the game. End of story. He scored the last round for Jacobs. Says it all.

 

He’s awful but funny. Has no idea how to score a fight but I like it when he’s being a parody of himself.

I really hope @Potwash didn't put a bet on for a Canelo stoppage. I feel guilty if he did. I lost a few quid on it but in them first 6 rounds I couldn’t see Jacobs making it through the fight.

Canelo is P4P number 1 for me, now.

Ben Davison had an interesting tweet and I actually agree with him. He pretty much said neither fighter looked great.

Jacobs had a good work rate and a good chin but I felt his work was messy. Canelo looks dynamite when he's fresh. Looks like every shot is lethal but his gas tank is poor.

Unpopular opinion perhaps but Saunders gives Canelo a hell of a fight for me. I think Davison can keep him on the right road, like he has Tyson. Just hope Billy doesn't waste more time at SMW.

 

Stylistically, I think Canelo stays well away from him. Even if he came out of it with the win, he wouldn’t look great against a southpaw as slick as Saunders whom beats Jacobs convincingly for me.

 

I might be in the minority here but I thought Canelo looked fantastic. Obviously the first 6 were better but we are talking about top level championship boxing here!
People are very harsh in my opinion. Jacobs gets massive credit for biting down and making a fight of it but he was getting outclassed for large part of the fight.
