Okay this is getting ridiculous from Clenelo. He is scraping the bottom of the barrel fighting a shot, 160 pound, mentally broken fighter, someone who had a bipolar episode post interview in his last fight. If this is really true, Canelo should **** off.

Let's forget the fact of him not fighting Benavidez next. Look at what his pound for pound rivals are doing:

Inoue - will fight three times, most likely against Nery, Akhmadaliev and say Goodman, all prime active fighters.
Crawford - most likely will target the champions at 154, with Tszyu being the number one guy a possible fight.
Usyk - will fight Fury for the undisputed championship next month.
Bivol - will fight Beterbiev next and possibly Opetaia for the cruiserweight championship.

This will be very disappointing if Canelo-Charlo indeed comes to fruition. Especially in the context of what I wrote above.

Also, what is this fascination of Canelo beating up brothers? First Cotto and his brother, two of the Smith brothers and now the Charlo bros. Does he have a vent anger from his own brothers and takes it out on other people?

Pathetic if true. Has an undisputed champion ever so blatantly ducked the universally recognized number 1 challenger for so long?

Canela trying to wait out David B until he can't make 168 any longer, sad.

Running like a gazelle from lion Benavidez like Terry's running from his lion Super Boots. Neither want a goddamn sniff of that smoke with their greatest threats both of whom possess great speed, power, length, skills, punch variety, and youth which all combine to make them devastating offensive forces. And they're running from the smoke on their own soil or adopted soil where the deck is stacked in their favour and at the bare minimum they will receive a fair shake from the judges. It's a disgrace. Let's just call it what it is here. This is some straight female dog ass ho poop.

Better fight than Munguia but this isn't good for boxing.

    Cherry-picking at its finest.

I think Jermall is better than Jermell though, but I expect exactly the same outcome. Jermall will realise early on he's out of his depth, run away, save punishment, take the cheque. And Canelo knows this.

These silly moves are why Canelo won't be regarded as an ATG, unless he mans up and fights Benavidez at the end of the year, THE NUMBER 2 CHALLENGER FOR GODS SAKE. Rather than hype up a hype job a that isnt even in Canelo's weight.

PBC is partially to blame for this. They signed him to a supposed 100 million dollar deal and this is what they come up with?
I didn´t mind the Jemell fight because it was two undisputed champions going at it, I was slightly intrigued. But it only happened because the then inactive Jermall could not get his **** together in time for the fight.

I guess Canelo will be somewhat vindicated if he faces and beats Benavidez after this.

    It's all about legacy.

    Beat the Smith Brothers.
    Will beat the Charlo brothers.

No boxer in history has defeated two pairs of brothers. That's historic. Deal with it haters.

Come on we all knew it was happening, PBC cashing out their champions and feeding them to Canelo. If they have to lose the belts then get the most money for it and so this makes sense.

Question is who he fights in his 3rd and final fight under his contract with PBC.

This is obviously just Haymon handing paydays to his fighter’s. It’s the same reason we see ancient Guerrero and Berto, and the reason guys like Haymon’s contracts. Protection and manufactured hype to sell out for fights like this.

PBC goes against everything the sport is supposed to stand for (competition) and is simply in the business of lying and robbing people. This is how a company made for the fighter’s operates.

    That's 2 cheery-picks in a row.

Based on how lousy Jermall looked in his previous fight, Munguia is a better opponent.

Charlo is not even top a 5 at Middleweight right now. Maybe not even top 10.
