This is just pathetic on Canelo's side. How are you bringing up a guy who just moved up to WW to a MW catchweight?

I think it will do less than 500k unless they can add a superb co-main event along with decent undercard bouts. UK PPV might do fairly well since Khan has fans who actually think he can beat Canelo.

What’s pathetic about it? At least no one is draining anybody here. Khan said he walks around at 160+.

Sigh, I never thought Canelo would stoop this low. This is just on a different level of pathetic.

I find it funny how you're making this about Floyd. I've actually been pro canelo, and have defended him a lot, but I cant defend a guy going this low.

Canelo would either go for Tim Bradley or Khan. Oscar's been talking about these names for a while now. They wanted the lowest risk opponent with the biggest reward, and that was Bradley or Khan. There's noone at 154 who'd bring the same kind of payday. They were pretty much stuck. After Khan, they are still stuck. Their only hope of ducking GGG would be fighting BJS and we'll see if they are going to manage to lure BJS into fighting in the US.

It will exceed the Canelo-Cotto PPV numbers.

You made it about Canelo, calling it “pathetic” that he’s fighting Khan since Khan is going up from WW to a MW catchweight. Essentially Khan is moving up one weight class. This MW catchweight (155) benefits Khan, otherwise Canelo could weigh in at 160 which would be unfair to Khan being the smaller man.

Khan said he walks around at 160+, so it will be interesting to see how Khan plays this, does he bulk up? Khan dont wanna lose his speed though. This is the guy that Floyd didn’t wanna fight and fought Berto instead so you gotta give Canelo credit for taking this fight.
