    I actually agree with you on this if I understand what you are implying here.

    GGG is just as much to blame for not forcing his mandatory and if needed get loud and do a lot of TV about it.
    He should have FORCED his mandatory and put Canelo/WBC in a corner.

    And we don't have to roll with it. We can choose not to buy this BS fight.

    Im not a fan of Khan or Canelo. But I hope Khan wins this. But I think this ending ugly like Gatti/Gamache is more likely than Khan winning.

    The only thing that will be clashing that night will be Canelo's fist on Khan's glass jaw.
    I'm not giving Khan any respect, he not doing it for glory but for money. He's hoping for a hail mary victory so he can have a prayer of getting a Mayweather payday. Not realizing that his career will most likely be over after Canelo stretches this fool on the canvas. How foolish. :-(

    The high anticipation for the MW divisions two most important fights are,

    1) Canelo Alvarez - Amir Khan

    Everyone, even Khan's relatives believe he will get knocked out early and this will be anything but a competitive fight. A very high priced one-sided event.

    2) German Gennady Golovkin (GGG) - Canelo Alvarez

    Everyone, even Bernard Hopkins believe Canelo will get knocked out early and this will be anything but a competitive fight. Although not as huge an event a #1 above, still for a non-competitive match-up, a very high priced one-sided event.

    In that order.

    The MW division is cottage cheese, however if there were no #1, then #2 would be all fans would have to witness, and that would be extremely dull.

    The irony is, although everyone thinks Khan will lose, many hope he pulls of a miracle and wins to shake up the otherwise dull MW division. I.E., Mayweather-Khan for MW title which would be 10x more interesting than Golovkin - Canelo.

    I mean, if Khan miraculously defeats Canelo, then a Canelo-Golovkin match-up would have definitely been super dull.

    This fight is a mis-match to protect "The GOLDEN GOOSE" that O$CAR needs to assure his supply of "NOSE CANDY" .

    The Canelo - Khan title fight has turned a division that no one felt any excitement for into an exciting surprise.

    This fight is like Donald Trump jumping into the GOP Presidency, upsetting the normally dull apple cart, making it exciting and surprising everyone by giving the established shoe-ins an on-stage bare azzed bamboo caning.

    German Gennady Golovkin is like like Zeb Bush, a parachuted hype who nobody cares about because he is a nobody.
    Once to SOMEBODIES from a lower weight decided to play in the MW division, the division became exciting again. Little g couldn't do that.

    That's why KHAN Vs CANELO is the biggest, most exciting and anticipated MW fight in the last 5 years.

    Sure it's a big fight, big event. And it will probably do big numbers. But a legit MW title fight its not. And let's not pretend it's anything more than a $$ grab for all involved.

    If Canelo was serious about fighting GGG next he would have signed a ranked MW.

    :lol: Why would Canelo want to fight a nobody when he has a live somebody in front of him?

    It's not a legit MW title bout, but at the 155 Canelo agrees to fight at, neither is Canelo-Golovkin.

    The difference is Canelo fighting Khan is the bigger fight against a fighter with the bigger name and rep. Not unlike hagler-Duran but at a CW.

    Golovkin is only 34 and odds are once Canelo and Khan finish using the MW division to fulfil their goals, they'll probably dump the title where it will find it's way to B-level Golovkin.
    The only outcome that would possibly change this is if Khan should some way beat Canelo. In this far fetched outcome, then Golovkin will likely have to wait a little longer while Khan-Mayweather take a few tens of millions out of the MW division.

    Everybody wins. Even a nobody. :good
