James already turned down the fight because he would not be ready in time

 

It's a better look for Canelo to get James rather than Paul. Kirkland is dangerous but he gets battered by the red headed Mexican. The first few rounds will be interesting since James will be confident going in......but as the rounds pass by.and reality sets in that he's just not on his level I think we will see James getting stooped.

 

Lost it how? before or after he dropped Molina and had him on the verge of being knocked out if the bell had not of sounded.....the corner stepping in is there fault but it don't change the fact that one man had turned the tide.

 

Get real. Is that really winnning a fight? Kirkland got his ass beat all night. Did molina fight a pretty fight? No, did he win? YES. Molina was the better man that night, Kirkland didnt deserve to win and doesn't deserve a title shot with Canelo.

 

Kirkland ain't gonna fight Canelo, Kirkland was the first choice but he's gonna have a shoulder surgery, so they picked Williams instead.

It really wasn't a close fight...James did get a KD but that was the extent of his success in that fight.

And Lara is boring, featherfisted, and has an abysmal punch output like all cubans not called Gamboa, and like all cubans he has no fanbase, Canelo has better options.

Put Lara in there, wasn't his loss to PW controversial, this is kinda fair for him at least and not really at PW's expense but you know... Kirkland doesn't deserve it yet and specially after the Molina fight and after his 1st round TKO loss, even though he came from the deck in the 1st round to stop Angulo afterwards. Quintana is in my opinion crafty but not really a tough challenge for Canelo or such a fight more appealing to the fans.

 

Molina outboxed him for 9 rounds, I had it a shutout going into the round of the KD, which was VERY light. He got up and was still far enough ahead to win. :-(
