    * Hoya was more passed it and, hopefully, way more drained than Kova will be.

    * Stylistically, I think even a past it Kova matches up better with Canelo than Hoya did with Pac.

    * Pac was better than Canelo is.

    ...

If no weight gimmicks... I got Kova UD with some scary moments and Canelo doing good work in spots.

    Just imo.

Oh my friend! an experienced observer such as yourself believing that Canelo will lose a decision? Krusher could win 8 rounds and the scores will be 118 -110 Canelo 116-112 Kovalev, and 115 -113 for the winner and new light heavyweight champ Canelo Alvarez!! and the crowd will boo and fans will scream fixed, and blah, blah, blah…….I'm not Nostrodamus , I've just been to this party before.

I completely understand your doubts and concerns... and indeed, they are not unfounded.

Like I said... Old fighter enters ring struggling with weight, not getting his prime power shots going and getting broken down, stopped late by young lion who chose the perfect time to face the big name divisions apart.

Congrats Canelo, great finish. Lets not just fool ourselves if its anything like this in Kovs prime.

Sure but when did kovalev face a boxer of canelos stature in his prime? Capparelo, campillo, cleverly? Sorry but canelo is facing real names..in his prime. Respect.

Not to mention taking real risks something fighters like the boogieman GGG never did..in their "prime"

Also, ODLH wasn't winning any rounds vs Pacquiao whereas Kov was, arguably winning the fight.

Except Canelo was favourite whereas experts feared for PACs life? And that 147 was PACs 10th weight class where it’s canelos 4th? And that Pac was considered too small for 130 at the time with people thinking his physical prime was 126 yet alone 147?
