Kovalev knocks his ginger pumpkin head into the 4th row. Hell... even post-Ward Kovalev was a round and a half away from getting brutally jobbed on the cards, GGG style.
Although he's obviously a great fighter, Alvarez isn't really a light heavyweight. He beat a well past his prime, personally troubled Kovalev in a fight Alvarez was somehow winning on the scorecards. However, he is too small to beat an in-his prime top notch 175 pounder. Kovalev beats him, perhaps by late round KO. On that note it should be pointed out that if Beterbiev or Bivol beat Canelo it doesn't say anything negative about Alvarez. He is a stubby, short armed, much smaller fighter and he should lose to those guys.
Kovalev grinds him into paste. If the reflection of the shadow of Kovalev was able to shoeshine Canelo with a jab for 11 rounds what would not the real man himself do?
