I saw that Oscar tweeted that. If true you really have to respect Canelo. I think he will lose but if he wins, I would be fine with another Floyd fight. I actually thought Angulo was going to put him through hell.
Canelo and GB are doing everything to make him that star. Lara will probably use some lame excuse to duck like money or some crap then all the gloids on here will blame Canelo.
I don't see Lara turning this down, even with a short time between fights. I would lose a lot of respect for Lara.
Canelo deserves respect. Here's a fighter whose team wants to handle him with kid gloves and he'll have none of it. Sometimes that results in going a step too far, but I respect that ambition. GBP wants to milk him by matching up carefully- this isn't the first time he's taken it into his own hands. They didn't want him to take the Trout fight, either. If he gets wind that there's talk of him ducking, though, he'll make the fight. Lara-Alvarez should happen.
alvarez will smash lara. if angulo can catch and knock him down with his slow ass just imagine what canelo will do. canelo by ko/stoppage!
No doubt, Lara has no chin. I can hear his fans now "Oh the ring was to small that's why his chin got shattered"
Ishe is going to make 50k you don't think he'll take 60 k step aside money. It won't be the first or last time it happens
Going to go with Canelo by UD. Lara is a brilliant boxer and is probably Canelo's hardest fight out there at the moment. Lara will give Canelo a lot of problems. I see Lara getting dropped in the later rounds but surviving to the final bell. If Canelo gets past Lara then he's definitely the best 154 pounder (Floyd looks to of moved back down to welterweight again) He should move up to middleweight if he gets past Lara.
WTF are all these back to back PPV's?Canelo vs Lara and a week later Chavez vs GGG?Somebody has to blink-it just doesn't make any sense and they are forcing to make one buy one event or the other. I just don't get it.:huh
