    I give credit to Canelo for stepping up. This is what boxing needs.

    I just hope they don't try to rob Lara if he wins.

    It's evidently, as of right now, scheduled for the day of Chavez-GGG (if the fight does get made).

    GGG-Chavez will be fight of the year, so it looks like Golden Boy is trying to stick it to Top Rank and HBO by making this Alvarez-Lara PPV the same night.

    If I have to choose between these two fights, I'm definitely going with Chavez-GGG.

    All that said, Alvarez-Lara is a great fight!

    Canelo earned my respect big time!:happy he couldve ducked this fight rather easily and he didnt. He absolutely stepped up to the challenge damn the risk. EVERY boxing fan should be a fan of canelo today.

    I think its a huge mistake on GB part. They should schedule the week before as i think theyre going to lose this ppv. Both ABSOLUTELY MUST WATCH fights and puttng them on the same night is a disservice to boxing fans everywhere. i expect date change.
