Canelo vs Lara - Official Poll

Doesnt seem to be a lot of hype for this fight. No buzz on the forum about it.

BTW... The reason the "lack" of buzz is because peeps are afraid to get called for having the wrong pick the next day. The fight is virtual toss up.

 

canelo will improve in his stamina, conditioning, speed, power and over all skill. canelo by ko. honestly i will be shocked if lara pulls it off. call me out after if you must.

 

Does Canelo-Lara appear to have shades of Pac-Marquez to anyone else, or is it just me?

 

Lara will win, but he will get robbed.

You can't outbox a boxer. That's what Canelo will try to do.

The reason why Angulo & Molina had success is because they apply non-stop pressure. Canelo will fall into the trap of thinking he's the better boxer and he'll get outboxed instead.

Lara is a step up from Trout (I thought Canelo lost to Trout) as evidence by the schooling Lara gave him. If you try to box Lara, you're playing right into his strengths. If Canelo try to pressure, he's going to gas. Canelo will look good for a couple rounds before Lara starts figuring him out.

 

Thats exactly how i see it playing out. Canelo comes out strong for the first 3 or 4 rounds then i think Lara steadies himself and has Canelo figured and then just works him for the rest of the fight with canelo swinging at air and tiring. wouldnt be surprised to see a late stoppage if canelo starts taking some big shots. Lara wins by late stoppage.

Canelhoe was troubled by Trout, being outboxed and won b/c he scored a flash KD in yet another rd he was LOSING.
Lara is a very similar fighter to Trout except he's faster smarter stronger and more skilled.

Canelhoe AIN'T a come foreward pressure fighter like Vanes or Angulo.....if he tried that tactic he'd gas after 4 rds.
His chin is sturdy vs blown up LWs and JWWs but its been dented by WWs and true LMWs.....

Lara will be the strongest boxer Canelo has fought and also the biggest......

i think you are underestimating the improvements canelo made in his stamina and conditioning. canelo did not gas and had a high work rate against angulo. canelo will catch lara early and often. canelo tko 9.

 

Alvarez by late round TKO or KO, but not 100 % sure, could be a close fight. If Angulo could knock Lara down, more than once, have him badly hurt, Alvarez could also, but Alvarez would finish him off..................Lara will run all night, so Alvarez should buy some track shoes...........

But I think it's close to 50/50 and the odds of him winning a decision he doesn't deserve are sky high, so I will go as far as saying it's a legit prediction I have mild confidence in...
