i think it is, but the problem is lara is a boring safety first fighter like you said and there are lots of pay-per-views to choose from this year.
Hell no , I will be here following the rd by rd and catch it free next week. Only Pac vs Mayweather of Golovkin vs Mayweather, Cotto vs Canelo or maybe Cotto vs Maywaether for the 160 title is PPV these days. There are no other fights I would pay for.
easily ppv worthy. If this fight is boring it will be because canelo fights smart. He will box and move and trust that he gets a decision. 118-109 against trout and a draw against mayweather when he maybe won 1 round. Anyone who thinks canelo is gonna pressure is insane. If he pressures hes gettin dropped ok ko'd.
I can't see how this fight will possibly be boring, especially based off their styles. Lara may be defensive but he does engage occasionally and Alvarez will be there to force him to engage. This fight has serious potential to being a classic.
Yes I agree it is PPV worthy, but @ 35$, that's about it, but they prolly want 60 bucks, plus premium for HD ( like anyone watches sd sports anymore.) At the prices they want for PPVs these days I would expect additional camera feeds, a non commentary feed, more microphones in the ring so we can hear the fighters more, commemorative programs / posters etc... a little swag! To me the production values although good, don't cut it when I'm expected to pay 60 bucks to see it. There's got to be a way to get us closer to the action! I'd love to watch a NFL Films version of a good fight. As for the fight itself, Lara looked to be in a bit of trouble before he thumbed Angulo. He got floored and recovered well, seems to have good recuperative powers. He'll need it against Canelo, but I think this will be a very fun fight to watch. Seems like both have the tools to beat the other. Great stylistic match up that I won't be watching. The ever increasing PPV rates have priced me out of the market. I'll find a way to watch it online
Is this price to see the fight live for real? If so, then I am even more pissed at the inflated ppv fees! I'd see that live at that price too.
Richard Schaefer said that this Canelo vs Lara match up would not be a title fight though this is aired in Showtime PPV. Lara is scheduled for a fight against Ishe Smith this May but Lara pulled from the fight and accepts the offer for Canelo Alvarez fight. It is a good decision by the way, knowing that he will be paid more when he will be fighting Canelo Alvarez on July 12. Canelo got a lot of fans out there, there will be more tickets to be sold and more PPV buys that this fight will make. Source:canelovslara
Nah.....It's gonna be a garbage fight whenever Lara steps up in the ring. No matter who his opponent will be. If Lara make a garbage fight this time, I will never watch him again.
