I think Jacobs and Saunders would beat Canelo @160. Him vs Lee, Quillin, Lemieux, Eubank, Heiland, Blanco would all be close match ups.
Lemieux is there to be hit, but so is Canelo. At the end of the day, I believe Lemieux would win by TKO or lose a decision in Canelos backyard. There is a reason why Canelo is not fighting above 155 even though he can't make 154 anymore.
Canelo has zero chance of stopping Lemieux. It comes down to whether or not Canelo can handle 12 rounds of Lemieux. Personally I doubt Canelo's jab has enough power to keep him off. Canelo will win most of the first half with solid combination punching but I'm not sure if he could do that the whole fight. Either way it would be a close fight.
I think it's a highly competitive fight that could go either way. I'd love to see it. Talking to yourself again? Lol
I went with Canelo. It would be an interesting fight but ultimately Lemieux is Canadian. Never pick a Canadian to win unless he's fighting another Canadian.
He can't KO glass jawed Miguel Cotto who was rocked by Floyd Mayweather, but a legit MW who probably should be a SMW, who punches so hard that GGG was scared to go to war with.... Canelo TKO's. Yeah sure, tell me another one of your tall tales.
LOL @ MidniteProwler not understanding why weight divisions matter in regards to a loss of punch resistance and punching power. There's a reason why Canelo does not want to officially move up to Middleweight.:deal
