Canelo vs Leonard

I don't think anyone has said Canelo didn't connect at time's , but he clearly lost the bout...the fact that Canelo has since learnt from this fight & adopted some of Floyds tactics, no denying that, clearly shows that Floyd did school him ...yumyum

 

There was lots of schooling goin on but it wasn't just Floyd the teacher. Canelo was the teacher too and Floyd was the kid who got sent to detention for dipping down too much and holding and kidney shotting. No teacher would foul a student or let a student do what Floyd did and not end up in detention. Lets face it, if that match was a classroom Floyd would be the one in detention not Canelo.

 

Hmm Careful, you’ll hoist yourself by your own petard with that claim, forgive me if I take, what appears to be, an expert’s opinion on Canelo with a large dose of sodium chloride....ha ha still God loves a tryer...

Canelo is a far better fighter than Floyd was.

 

Are you high ? Floyd did both, he moved and was a slickster on the backfoot in spots and traded with Canelo in others

You can't judge like this.
When Canelo will be 36 y.o we might be able to judge and compare their performance.

You most likely do not have differentiation between pbf before damaged hands and moving up in weight classes, 20 y.o, 26 y.o or 30 or 36 y.o or 40 y.o Floyd Jr.
I do have.

We will be able to compare them when Canelo will turn 36 and still fight in the ring.

 

Bad as I hate to admit,,Canelo kills Leonard at 168.

 

Leonard couldn`t stop Duran at 168 and Canelo is naturally bigger than Duran was, so I can``t believe 6 votes went on Ray stopping Canelo at 168, he is far harder to hit than Lalonde.

 

Did it ever occur to you that Hagler was tired cause he was a bit older and past his best ?

 

My money's on Canelo.

 

And still had much better workrate than Canelo, he threw 792 punches in Leonard fight. Canelo doesnt like fighters, who move a lot (Trout, Lara, Mayweather) or make him work ( GGG ), and let me tell you, Leonard is better than Trout, Lara and even GGG.
