IDK Lance. If the Margarito who fought Mosley fought the Canelo from the Jose Miguel Cotto fight or even the L.Mosley fight, id say Canelo would probably whoop him at 147 too. Once he got found out, he was never the same fighter after that. Only chance he would ever have against Canelo at any weight would be with blocks in his wraps.

Canelo takes it easy

 

Jab merchant Larry Mosley barely won 2 rounds and people say it was close fight lol. Canelo was badass even at 18.

 

Canelo was NOT a complete fighter at 147, if that's where we are going to place them. You rate them on how they looked at that weight. Yu can't just assume canelo would look at 147 as he did 154. (155).

Why are you even picking Margarito from a fight he lost? Do you honestly believe that is how you perform a hypothetical matchup?

Why am I picking from a fight he lost? Its simple, every fight Margarito had prior to the Mosley fight has an asterisk next to it. You know this. Canelo might not have been "Complete" as you say but he was still a good young fighter with alot of poise and talent. Margarito never had talent. Like i said you take away Margaritos bricks like in the Mosley fight, Canelo beats him up.

 

Canelo easy on any weight, I even pick the green Canelo that beat Mosley over brickco Margarito was trash without his cement gloves

 

Margaritos win over Cotto was his last great performance. I don’t pay too much attention to the “bricks” scandal. He just seemed so much slower after that fight. Not sure whether it was age, making weight, too much beer and partying after the win?

 

Cotto also took Mayweather into deep and Mayweather still schooled your hero Canelo would use Margarito as a piñata

 

It was his last great performance but why? What happened to the killer that beat Cotto to a pulp only 6 months prior?
