Correct, Canelo is not a big puncher, he's explosive and fast, but fades. Hagler had a great chin was never badly hurt or legit dropped, not even in sparring.

Hagler would beat Canelo, maybe even stop him late. Old school fighters was just tougher and fought harder.

I don't favour Canelo in this fight regardless, I voted for Hagler win. I said a KO wouldn't surprise me though if Hagler got careless. If he throws caution to the wind, he'll leave himself wide open for some of those overhand right hands, a few of them consecutively would knock out a LHW. Never mind a MW.

Just watched Minter vs Antuofermo I , and saw some similarities as well as contrasts between the fight with GGG and Canelo. With Antuofermo playing the role of Canelo. So....

How about Canelo vs the southpaw Minter and his thudding jab? Or a more physical and fouling infighter like Antuofermo. These would be 2 more realistic hypotheticals
