1 huge thing many in here ignore is canelo would have 20 lbs on hag and is twice as fast, if not 5x faster.

Talking 160 hag vs 175/80 lb canelo. I'd take three bigger and vastly superiorly skilled canelo 10/10 x

Canelo knocking out Hagler has got to be one of the most ridiculous things I have ever heard. It's just not happening, end of.

Not only that but Hagler had a decent defence, very good power and great skills himself. Canelo would get gassed as usual and end up getting stopped late.

Of course, because clearly boxing is the only physical things human regressed in, sure sure.

Canelo would clearly beat hag by very wide I'd, hag wouldn't do a thing to this 180 lb canelo. Stop this nonsense

Canelo wouldn't survive Bennie Brisco , never mind Hagler.

Jesus christ this entire thread is complete joke.

Hagler 120-108, but vs Oscars judges probably a split decision for Canelo.

Old school fighters went 15 rounds man, Ali And Frazier went life and death 15 rounds nonstop. Hagler, went 15 rounds man Canelo can't even go 5 rounds, without getting gassed you saw him in the GGG fight gassed out, like they say about the NFL players come on man.

Athletes from the past were the same as today even better conditioned and stronger, don't believe that fake hype about Athletes today being more advanced and athletic today, that's nonsense proof

Just because you didn't hear about or see them doesn't mean that their was nobody as fast as Bolt in the past, always hear those stories. You know why there is a football player in the NFL that can hang with Usain Bolt and they showed would finish 3rd and that was in high school. This was last week on Sunday nigh Football i believe.

And another guy that plays football beat Bolt
Ted Ginn’s also outran Bolt and his team,
Ginn told ESPN on Wednesday that as a senior in high school he was a member of a 4×100-meter relay team that beat a group anchored by Jamaican superstar Usain Bolt. It’s a moment Ginn loves to relive.

"He was the anchor, and I was the second leg," Ginn said. "I opened up and gave us that lead that he couldn’t get back. So, you know, man, I’ve done run against the best of the best.

So don't fall for that theory that past Athletes are not just as good or are better athletes then todays , or couldn't dunk or jump over people like today and dunk like Jordan, that's a lie

Non of then came close to 175/80.
This endless bs of "old school" fighters being so great is a joke. Their comp was 1/4 of the pool of talent that makes it to the top.

I loved hag but he LOST and had a couple true draws with fighters that couldn't hold canelo jock.
The mw back then were literally today's jww/we, the very small ww of today were there size.

Compare real weight classes, hag was so slow he's get lit up like a Xmas tree all night in route to a very wide I'd.

Not sure if you're serious or not but if you really are this new to the sport, I just want to inform you that Hagler used to fight 15 hard rounds and Canelo can barley do 12 without being close to a heart attack... 180 lb Canelo would get beat by Hagler.

Who has Canelo KO'd or dropped that was known to have a good chin? Hagler had an iron chin. Canelo couldn't even dent little Lovemore N'Dou, and we are supposed to believe that he would hurt Hagler?
