neverthless canelo is no full fledged middleweight.

and if floyd can fight smaller guys, like hatton or marquez, than why cant canelo fight a smaller guy in floyd? even so for me floyd aint that much smaller, like I said he got height and reach advantage and well weight, maybe weight could even become a disadvantage for canelo, since being so big at fight night takes a lot of stamina and condition out of him, so floyd could move all day and pot shot canelo to death  so at the end, it isnt so unfair or you scared your running chicken gets tackeld, I mean were are talking about the called best fighter ever, cant he handle somebody weighing 165? if not than well he should fight such dangerous opponents like timmy, devon or robert :lol::lol::lol: most of you just suck, yorry but its true.

Pacquiao had no problems fighting Margarito, who was much heavier, taller, and had a significantly longer reach.

    Floyd fans stop bitching

Floyd has been the smaller fighter in 90% of his pro fights since he moved from 130 and even often at 140. He's fought bigger men on the reg. Canelo has been the bigger fighter in the majority of his. Did you forget Canelo won a title by beating ricky hattons shitty younger brother who he dragged up a division and who wasn't even a top 20 fighter in the divisdion below? they handed him a belt for beating a guy whos not even from his division or good in the one below! or that his most recent defense before trout was vs 140 pound fighter Josesito Lopez who he dragged up 2 full division! Or that one of his first HBO fights was vs Cotto's shitty younger brother who used to fight at superfeatherweight.....or how about past his prime WW Alfonso Gomez??? or LW Miguel Vazquez x 2........

    C'mon SON!!!

Canelo has proven himself to be legit but don't act like he didn't pick on smaller fighters for a long time.

floyd was much larger (taller, bigger stronger and weighed more) than hatton and marquez. also the goat should have not much problems with somebody weighing 165.

oh yeah, you right, canelo's opponents are realy very tiny and smaller than canelo, sorry my mistake.

look. I dont give a damn about weight. I just wanna see great fights, okay. floyd is capable of doing 154 and king @154 is now canelo, so let both in the ring and over, i dont give a **** about the past, who fought who and who was smaller and what not, all I want is a good boxing future with great fights and floyd should face canelo and canelo sooner or later should g up and face ggg, its all about great fights and floyd with his ***** attitude prevents super fights like floyd - pac or floyd - canelo and thats why I dont like floyd. end

Pacquiao was 31 not 36 and Margarito is slow as **** and blocks all punches with his face. Canelo actually has some skill, speed, head movement, defense and slickness, and is even bigger than Margarito, so there goes that dumb ass argument.

Wait, say that again while I play the world smallest violin

Lol in other words he's big and dangerous and Floyd should stay away from him. Even tho multiple members of his team said he could beat anyone even up to 160, even though he himself said he would fight him. I understand

I don't think Floyd outweighed Hatton who was known to be a big Jr Welterweight. Impossible to know how much Floyd weighs on fight night though but against Ortiz going by HBOs unofficial scales he was 150 lbs and recently with a month to go to the Guerrero fight he weighed 150 lbs by WBC's scales.

Floyd's not the GOAT and I read on here Canelo was 171 lbs on fight night against Trout.

I think Floyd should vacant his 154 lbs if he doesn't plan to fight the likes of Canelo, Trout or Martinez. If he plans to keep it then those fights should happen.

This is the one thing that ****s me off about a lot of Boxers, especially Floyd! Why fight in that division if you won't fight the best? You're the champ for christ sake!

Sometime soon he is going to run out of options and he WILL have to face someone who gets pitted against him in these kind of matches.

He's big and dangerous and outside of Floyd's weight class. If he was a big dangerous WW, no problem, no make the fight happen.

You don't care about the past when it destroys your argument. Fact f the matter is, boxing is about comparing skills. I want to see two guys of comparabale size match skills, not an old aging figher facing a guy 2 or 3 weight divisions heavier than him.
