Canelo vs Miguel Cotto

their is no way this decade they will put Canelo in with Cotto. A fighter like Canelo would be picked apart against someone like Cotto.

 

Cotto at this stage and weight will still defeat Canelo... Canelo loves fighting the smaller guys and is still to young to be put with someone like Cotto. The guys has yet to fight a top ten in his division, lets settle down.

 

Cotto couldn't take the power and combination punching of Judah, without cheating with all those low blows , nor Mosley without running away the whole 2nd half like a little *****, what makes you think he could take the pressure and power of Alvarez?

It all depends on if Alvarez can take Cotto's power, at this point, I think Cotto is mentally broken from the Margo fight and physically deteriorated from the Manny fight to take on Alavarez.

I think Cintron would win this one, if he didn't jump out the ring after the first hit.

 

I feel pretty confident in saying the current version of Cotto would dismantle the Canelo we saw last night. Alvarez has the makings of a quality fighter, but he's still very green and has a **** load of flaws which would be exposed by a more seasoned fighter. I also don't see much improvement from fight to fight for Canelo, it's almost as if his progression has stagnated.
