Canelo vs Mike Jones

you obviously have not seen Jones fight as yes he is a big dude but just like paul williams he doesn't know how to use his size. He fights on the inside too much. He should be more of a jab jab right hand fighter but he is not which does make him more exciting but is ultimately going to be his downfall as he also doesn't look to have the best of chins. Soto-karass also is not know for his power and he had jones out on his feet. People forget how canelo handles guys that come at him. Last guy that did that was baldomir and we all saw how that ended. His last 3 fights have been against guys coming to survive and box.

 

OMG. Canelo would absolutely smash Mike Jones. Possibly kill him.

My point exactly. I think Jones gives him a good fight though. I'll say TKO somewhere around the 7th - 8th round.

 

Mike Jones hasnt really impressed me. Canelo looked good in his last outting.

Mike Jones from Philly~?? The same Philly that isn't too far off from where im from.. I guess I haven't seen him fight.. I guess i haven't seen him throw enough power punches to know if he ever unleashed a couple of good poewr shots to Canelo's chin, he would see the canvas.. I guess i didnt see him hit luciano perez so hard that at first glance it look like he did the exorcist..... I guess im not too familiar with Mike Jones... Soto Karass was his step up fight....
Soto Karass isn't know for his power, but he's a durable guy that weathered a big storm, and was able to deliver enough BODY SHOTS during and after that onslaught that when he did go upstairs it had MORE of an affect... However, the second fight was different.... Jones played it smart... And if he put the peddle to the metal later in that fight, he could have gotten a TKO...
Baldomir isnt a puncher.... And he's short with a big head... When you're an older fighter, approaching 40, with little punching power, good chin, what's usually gonna be the outcome~?? Baldomir is more accomplished, but he's not as talented as Mike Jones...

Mike Jones will outbox him and tax that ass. Thats my first thought but If Mikes chin cant hold up then hes in trouble cause its gonna get tested.:bbb

I'd maybe pick Soto-Karass over Canelo. Same as I'd pick Rubio over Chavez. These two jabronies are overrated.
