I actually don't mind this fight.

Murata wouldn't have been my first choice, but he's an acceptable one. I think he's a top 5 MW.

So Clenelo will go to Japan for Murata but refused to fight GGG in MSG the Mecca of Boxing huh???? Jeez Those ginger nuts must be like acorns
I'm wondering if the same applies to Ginger as they said about Floyd some years ago " He squats to pee ":risas3:

At least he cant drain murata with weight clauses. And no vegas corrupt judges.
Also murata did avenge his losses

The only thing we have to worry about now is the steak.

It wouldn´t be bad if he fought 3 times a year.
Fingers crossed that his next fight is BJS or someone of that calibre.

An in shape, fully motivated Saunders would definetly present an a lot more difficult difficult stylistic challenge to Canelo. But considering how lazy he is, with his positive dopping test last year and his recent showings, I'm not sure if he'd be a more credible challenge than Murata at this point.

It probably won't be BJS. Stylistically he's a nightmare for Canelo and the last thing they want is another contentious points decision on his ledger.

A drained Smith seems a much more likely proposition IMO.

    So were Lara and Trout.
Canelo has only dodged one man and that is Golovkin. And hell, he even fought Golovkin twice.
BJS is a stylistic nightmare, but Canelo has never really ran from a challenge.

Lara and Trout were pre-middleweight when he wasn't a complete ****. His attitude towards fights has changed massively since then.

Fought Jacobs, which many doubted would happen. Also fought Kovalev.
And yea, you can say that he only fought Kovalev because he is old and looked bad in his last fight, sure. But when was the last time BJS looked to be in prime form? Well that would be against Lemieux... in 2017.
So I don´t see how Canelo, or his team would be particularly scared of Saunders. They have welcomed plenty of challenges and BJS has not looked good in recent years.
