Canelo vs Ortiz in September

ortiz is a lil small for 154 he just moved to 147 but if ortiz can handle the weight i would pick him over canelo although canelo has a punchers chance.

 

Sadly I think Ortiz will win. Canelo is nice but he's never foought a caliber of opponent as Ortiz. Ortiz atleast has fought some quality opponents while Canelo was letting Matthew Hatton get in his head and frustrate him. I think Canelo get KO'ed right hook.

 

Canelo likes to take his time, Ortiz likes to just get in there.

Might be interesting. Ortiz actually moves around quite a bit. Canelo doesn't like moving too much.

:deal Yea been thinking this as well. Maybe not a harsh rivalry like Rios, but I believe there still a rivalry brewing there, tho not a personal one. Win-Win situation for GBP.

Ortiz isn't beating Canelo. Canelo will pick Victor apart; he's a better technical boxer than Ortiz, has a better defense, is more poised in the ring and is used to fighting at 154 where as Ortiz isn't (154 is where the fight would most likely take place).

I see Canelo busting Ortiz on the outside with one-twos all night as Victor tries to rush him, the jab will **** Ortiz's night up.

I do think it's a excellent fight. 50-50.

 

oh ****!!! I love this fight, Ortiz is a legit challenge, way more so than Kirkland. This will be abarburner with a for sure ko!
