Canelo vs Plant close for September 18th

Everyone with an ounce of brain knew all that Beterbiev and Golovkin talk was to pressure Plant on the chopping block .

Much better fight than anything else out there.

 

Canelo's return to a traditional PPV format. Should do huge numbers. Where do you think the fight happen? Stadium or Arena?

Mexican Independence Day is on a Thursday this year, so that means we could be looking at September 18th as the Fight date. The Raiders have a road game that Sunday, so I wonder if this fight could happen at Allegiant Stadium.

 

Howso? Caleb Plant is garbage.

 

Because we are all in the sport to see titles unified and one champion per division.

This fight does that.

 

That's disrespectful to Plant. I bet you wouldn't say that to his face.

And that's where the appeal ends — but saying it's a much better fight than anything out there is a ridiculous and dumb statement.

Relating to Clenelo, Golovkin, Beterbiev, and Bivol are all far better opponents followed by David Benevidez and Jermall Charlo.

It's because he's part of the small minority who would refuse credit no matter who Canelo fought.

When a guy unifies LMW, MW and SMW its hard to give him to much grief. But a small minority find a way, it just makes them look foolish.

Whenever in history has a boxing fan not wanted to see a full unification fight?

Golovkin is ancient now. Charlo hasn't even taken care of business at MW.

Benavidez has no belt.

Beterbiev and Bivol are great fights, but he can fight them after unifying SMW whereas the converse is probably not true.

My ideal next 4 fights

Plant, Beterbiev, Bivol, Ramirez.

 

It's Canelo's wasteland. He's one fight from cleaning out that wasteland.
