Always thought the whole DAZN thing was a scam. Kinda like subscribing to Tuesday Night Fights. I never bought into it.

I’m convinced most of y’all are trolling. And Canelo didn’t necessarily leave DAZN he’s a network free agent so he can choose to fight whoever, whenever on any platform. He made his intentions of being undisputed at 168 known so PBC made sure Plant kept that belt to lure him to their platform for the undisputed fight. If Bob Arum had Caleb Plant this fight would have been on ESPN PPV.

He’s about his money at this point and I believe PBC has given him his highest guarantee ever to make this fight happen.

This one was always going to be PPV on one of the networks associated with Haymon.

It wouldn't have been the first time Al's sent a fighter across the street for one fight (e.g. Golovkin-Jacobs), but there was no need for his guy to stray from home in this instance, with Canelo having the agency to move around as he likes and the political clout to mitigate the risk of fighting on PBC's platform.
