I think Plant will has his moments but Canelo will win by UD with ease. 116-112 is good score for me. We gonna see in November. Who wins for you?
Plant is very slick and technical out-boxer. He can outbox almost everyone at his weight but still underdog because of Canelo. This shows Canelo's standards.
It's hard to see Plant winning this. He has beaten a few good guys but hasn't fought a top echelon fighter. He does not have the power to keep Alvarez off of him While he is a slick boxer I don't believe he is slick enough to actually stay away from Canelo. I see no way he wins by KO and I have a very hard time seeing him win by decision when he will be forced to just move much more than he will be able to score points while moving.
I havent watched plant, is he more like BJS with the jab and go? If not which of canelo's former opponents is he most like?
He is poorman's Saunders. Not as slick as Saunders but his timing is good. I think Plant at his prime now. If Canelo beats him, it will be great win. Because he didn't beat prime fighter since Jacobs and maybe Smith.
I like the fight, and think Plant should provide moments of solid competition and I look forward to seeing the boxing skills displayed by both, but obviously its hard not to think Canelo has too much pedigree here. Canelo UD or late stoppage.
