I know many and most will pick Canelo if these two guys meet. I think Rosado is the best candidate at this moment. This fight has a lot of potential to be exciting and could be sold easily to the public. Rosado keeps on impressing everyone in his last few bouts and wants the fight. Dont get me wrong. Lara will be a tougher opponent, but lets be realistic. Lara right now is going to be avoided by the known names and selling the Rosado fight from here to September will be much more succesful when it comes to promoting PR/Mexico bouts.
He's creating a buzz right now at this moment especially with has last few bouts. The guy is giving what the fans want to see and has stop his last two opponents in a good fashion way on a public network. Eventually these guys deserve a chance in boxing.
Rosado might be too dangerous for GBP to risk Canelo. He's going to get a human punching bag for September.
I think GBP wants at least a top 10 opponent in the division after the Mosley bout. It's time for Canelo to take on someone like Rosado which is on a good streak and seems very comfortable at that weight class and the fight could easily catch attention. A Molina bout is riskier and even if Canelo wins hes not going to look good because of Molinas style. Lara is a very tough opponent but will lack bringing an audience. GBP knows its time for Canelo to step up or the fans will begin questioning once again. They have to keep up with the buzz Canelo is creating as of lately and any fighter who is not rank in the division is going to hurt Canelo's name if anything. I want Canelo-Lara and Bundrage-Rosado, Winner Vs, Winner, which I'd expect it to end in Canelo-Rosado but both K9-Rosado and Lara-Canelo are 55-45 type fights for me!
If the fight goes down, wouldn't Rosado be the physically biggest fighter Canelo's faced? Not sure how much of a difference that would make
