For sure,he’s been around forever and hasn’t fought hardly anyone,never had a proper title and showed in his last few fights his quality.I even think the power thing is a psy op,he’s bigger than Golovkin,Canelo,Charlo and the rest at 160.
Not sure about him till I see him against Canelo,Charlo or Saunders but his no 2 status for God knows how long doesn’t say much for the division.

 

Saunders at his best outboxes Clenelo and gets robbed on the cards.

 

Relies on his fast hands and reflexes which are very good but he’s a counterpuncher by and large and that’s where I think he could struggle against Saunders.
How odd is it that many think Canelo can beat Golovkin,Saunders beats Canelo and yet Golovkin beats Saunders?purely a style thing I guess.

 

I think both beat Canelo - at their best. That said Canelo is very consistent and Saunders can blow hot and cold, so that's not a done deal. I reckon Golovkin's jab will be very annoying for Saunders to deal with, and that Saunders lack of any real power may bite him in the ass vs GGG. On the other hand, what he did with Lemieux was impressive and shows that if anybody can outslick GGG at this point, it's going to be him.

Saunders and his team will not allow GBP and Canelo to walk all over them and will not give in to all Oscars stupid demands and trickery. Just like Tyson Fury against Wlad Saunders knows all the dirty tactics and moves that get made before and during the fight all in the sake of stacking the favour the Mexicans way.

No way will this fight ever get made unless GBP are prepared to sit down and try make this fight as fair and as even as possible and there is no way GBP are prepared to do anything fair and even.

 

I feel a lot of people are overrating Saunders' win over Lemieux, beside power, Canelo does everything better than pepe Lemieux.
A underrated aspect of Canelo is his defense. Early in fights he usually tries not to get hit too much and i think aginst Saunders, Canelo would start out slowly, trying to counter Saunders and in the later rounds, he will land 1 or 2 punches to catch the judges attention and win rounds.
