I find it hilarious that ggg huggers are sticking it to Canelo for going for Smiths strap.

I thought Canelo was too big for 154? **** no he isn't, Canelo is no bigger than the Charlo's, Andrade, JRock and Lubin. Canelo is the same build as Lemieux but shorter and Lemieux looked undersized against GGG?

How can a man who went up a division and beat the lineal champ be persecuted for going back down to clean up his division? When is Stevenson or Kovalev going to go up and fight at cw? When is GGG going to fight Degale?

He's had a few fights at 155 and looked great, how can you say with a straight face he can't make 154?

    Come on man its 1lbs?

What happens when he blows Smith out inside 3 rounds and looks as good as ever?

Lemieux was bigger than GGG and barely makes 160...

Ofcourse Canelo would rather fight smith for the wbo rather then jrock for Charlos vacated belt.
    Is favor jrock over canelo

This is good. Cos Canelo v Golovkin was never gonna happen. So Canelo leaving the division is the next best thing.

I saw a smaller man getting whooped that night? I don't think my eye's were deceiving me. HBO bogus fight night weights aren't going to change my opinion. They just use them to make their golden boys look p4p

You can have your opinion but Lemieux is the one who failed to make weight at 160 and had to drop out of a fight and he's also the one that looked huge when in the ring with an actual 154 pounder. You'd have to go back to his days against Rubio to see a lemieux that looks small.

He doesn't deserve credit for this fight. I will give him a pass because he will remove a belt from a man that got it by accident but canelo will get no respect until he fights the more talented fighters of the weight, such as Charlos. Luckily for him, no one in the history of this sport ever ducked canelo so he will be able to pick and choose opponents.

There could of been issues that you don't know about which led to him not making weight. Those things do happen. He looked undersized against GGG.

BJS once missed weight so badly he weighed 173lbs, it doesn't mean they are particularly big they just dont live life between fights. GGG is a gym rat that doesn't balloon up between fight. He still cuts weight from 175 though.

:good I absolutely agree. De La Hoya is a hypocrite, he talked himself and his fighter into a corner. This isn't about a 40 yr old Mayweather, Oscar, it's about a 25 year old Saul Alvarez.

funny, Canelo hasn't made 154 in 3 years, he might faint at the weigh in if he tries this time

What a massive fukkin dissapointment Canelo and Oscar have turned out to be. But i hope we can all now put the GGG fight, 155 thing to bed now and let them both carry on on their different career paths. GGG in unifying the 160 division and then hopefull moving up to 168 and Canelo and Oscar can try figure out what they wana do with their careers, which clearly isnt facing Middleweights.
