Canelo must have chopped one of his toes off. He'll never live this down after all the big talk he gave.

GGG lucky Oscar is holding out... Let the old man (GGG) make some coin before the red headed kid out speeds him and makes the mad magazine cover kid look slow as fugg & eventually makes him gas out and stopped via body punching an ultimately any flush shot GGG constantly gets caught with against the bums he fights.

What about GGG, Do you really feel he did everything in his power to try and make the fight?

What more would you have liked him to do? He gave him the interim fight he demanded. That alone should of been enough.

I really don't see how people can still defend that weight cutting ginger ducker. He totally bottled it in crystal clear HD in front of the entire world and yet he still has people rallying to his defence.

His reluctance to face his mandatory challenge is a stain on both his and the sport's character. "I'm a Mexican, we don't **** around" blah blah blah. He then vacated his title and his bowels. What. A. Joke.

Yes, he fought for a mandatory title shot whilst holding another title belt.

Almost no one in history has done that.

Most guys have to take bs mandatories when champions, Canelo could have faced Khan in a big money voluntary fight and then G in a mandatory defence.

All Canelo had to do was sign.

    :deal

    It's an absolute joke.

He's given up the lineal MW title and the chance to fight for 3 MW belts, to instead fight for the WBO, JMW title?

It's both hilarious and cringeworthy to watch people support this whilst criticising GG at the same time.

For the GGG fanboys bringing up GGG on this thread:

GGG doesn't want hard fights. The proof is in the pudding.

    Excuses:

Ward- 168 too big, yet willing to fight Chavez Jr., Froch, and Zurdo at 168. Abel Sanchez on record stating that GGG is better suited for 168.

Canelo- 155 to low. Yet willing to fight little Mayweather just one pound below 155. Also said that would fight anyone between 154-168. Doesn't even counter offer Canelo for a fight at 157 or 158.

Lara- Most skilled option he has at the moment. Pretends that Lara doesn't exist.

Instead who does he fight, fighters with not even 20 wins or close to 10 losses, or Euro Level journeymen.

He was not flexible on the weight issue. Could have offered 157/158.
He hid behind the WBC's stance on the purse split which seems to be the big issue now.

For any fight to take place there has to be flexibility on both sides.:deal

    Exactly :deal

GGG sure doesn't seem to willing to make the big fights happen. He's always had an excuse why he can't fight quality opposition...

With Lara he even pretends he doesn't know he's being called out.

I'm a biGGG fan and have been holding back my criticism but to any objective observer he deserves some of the blame for this mess.

Another embarrassing thread where you've contradicted yourself without even realising it.

Why do continue to embarrass yourself like this?

    You're a complete laughing stock.

    It's painful.

GG doesn't want tough fights and the proof is in the pudding?

You've just said he wasn't willing to fight Andre at 168, yet he was willing to fight Froch, Chavez and Zurdo there.

    Ha!

Why don't you read that again Einstein.

No, he didn't want to fight Andre at 168. Fine. But according to YOU, he DID want to fight Froch, Chavez and Zurdo.

So he wanted to fight the likes of Froch at 168, yet he doesn't want tough fights?

    "Nurse!"

You're telling me that Froch and those other guys wouldn't have been hard fights??

    You're clueless.

Regarding Canelo, no, he didn't want to fight him at 155 even though he said he'd fight Floyd at 154. Why? Because the circumstances were COMPLETELY DIFFERENT. GG was Canelo's MW MANDATORY.

Why would he have countered Canelo's offer when he had the backing of the WBC and Canelo and his team wouldn't even negotiate before the deadline that they'd known about for a long time?

Regarding Lara, he's not even a MW and GG's main ambition is now to obtain the other MW titles.

I'd be amazed if you, Nay Sayer and Shockmaster could tie a pair of shoe laces together.
