Might sound harsh, with Canelo having won my admiration with his GGG, Kov and Smith performances, but there are levels.
SRR would most likely show that, even giving away 10-20 lbs, especially over 15 rounds.

 

Floyd, the Fraud, beat Clenelo easily. SRR would not have much difficulty in defeating the slow-footed and questionable stamina of Canelo.

At that time, it really starts to look like a primitive Bivol vs Canelo. If you watch, tell me it doesn't look like Bivol vs Canelo if it were fought in the 1940s/50s (51, but you know). The more things change, the more they stay the same.

 

I am a Canelo fan but we have enough evidence from master boxers like Floyd and Bivol even Lara that SRR would outbox and outclass Canelo and even though Canelo has a good chin SRR would hurt him.
