people backing canelo need to sit tight and see how he develops as a fighter...
vargas was canelo's age when he broke through
canelo has only arrived with the trout fight - let's wait a few years

You are insane. Canelo is way too inexperienced, young, and untested to think he could survive more than a few rounds with Trinidad. Even Vargas would dispose of him inside 6 rounds. Easily. Canelo is a good fighter in an era of garbage

Both Vargas and Trinidad were special fighters in a special era. Vargas was very, very good even in his loss to Trinidad. The way he evaded alot of trinidads punches with his amazing head movement was unreal. Yea he got caught, more out of underestimating Titos power, but the way he was able to come back and knock Tito down and then look like he may knock Tito out before the low blows stopped the momentum. And Vargas' power was great also, and was an excellent boxer, made adjustments during his fight with both Tito and Oscar and took it to them giving them very tough fights.
No way in Hell Canelo at this point would have been able to do that with those guys. Canelo IMO is slow. He's a decent boxer but there is nothing special there in my opinion yet.

Canelos ability to box will give Trinidad problems, Vargas too damn lazy to really get into fighting shape, Canelo stops him

Canelo definitely beats vargas. Vargas is severely overrated

You must not have watched boxing during Vargas' rise or Tito's. I guess if I were 16 I would have dumb opinions too.
