Canelo/Trout was a pick'em fight for me although I had Canelo with a slight edge going in. a second fight would be even more convincing. Possibly even by stoppage.
Not sure man, how can he up his workrate it was terrible, if anything I think Trout does better in a rematch
His workrate was awful but I'm thinking it had something to do with the open scoring. Even with the flaws he displayed he was able to convincingly get the win and IMO has more room for improvement than Trout.
I don't see what Trout will be able to improve on. He put up a good performance but just came up short.
without open scoring, i think canelo stops him. he hurt him several times but prefered to play it safe. i dont see how trout can improve his offence enough to deal with canelos defence or improve his defence enough to deal with canelos offence.
Yup, Canelo's lack of activity and suspect stamina was really emphasized in the fight and he still won, he improves a bit in each and gets an even more convincing win in a rematch.
Yeah, I don't see Trout ever beating Canelo. He was getting his ass handed to him even before he hurt his ankle.
They won't have this fight in a rematch. No one wants to see it. Canelo has many other opportunities.
He could change his gameplan, when Canelo was against the ropes trying to sucker Trout in, Trout was throwing and it was the wrong thing to do because he'd then get caught, when Canelo was laying on the ropes Trout shoulda just tried to get one jab in then retreat Trout needs to sit on his punches more he tries to tap the persons face and then gets caught, I think he could change somethings like circling in a certain direction instead of standing in the pocket trying to land left straights
