MEXICAN reporters already saying this fight is a go, and canelo retweeted a reporter's article that said canelo trout next. So its looking like pillow fists gone get his **** pushed in next just waiting on official confirmation. can't wait. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ax8cloq84Lo
if this fight is made, it should NOT be on the undercard, Let Floyd and Robert be the co feature this fight is bigger unification undefeated both young in their prime do this show justice
People will be surprised how easily Canelo will stop Trout. Trout does not like to feel punches and his defense is anywhere but slick. Cotto at points was landing at will and he has below average power at 154. When Canelo lands it is just a matter of whether Trout will run or stand and fight. My guess is he runs and tries to buy his time but Canelo will find him and stop him by 7.
You'll be surprised at how easily Trout outboxes Canelo. Canelo is going to be looking very frustrated trying to pick his feet out of the sand to catch up with Trout. While he's over there trying to catch a breather, Trout will be landing on him.
If this fight happens either Trout by decision (sd type), or Canelo by tko (no Steward). Either way I hope this fight comes through.
I wonder how many of the people picking Trout picked Cotto, I don't know if the fight happens but Canelo will win.
Canelo will bring a lot of viewers. I'm pretty sure GBP is making a pretty penny off of Canelo who will probably get a flat fee for this. I keep hearing about all these great numbers he's doing down in Mexico. Oscar is fleecing him just like Arum fleeces his fighters. Lots of 'overhead' in those promotional costs. :yep
IF its true and I will wait for a press con before jumping on that wagon, but IF true, its awesome news. I dont like giving props to fighters doing what they should be doing in the first place, still, they could have taken Cotto but if they fight Trout instead its a good look for Canelo and he should get props for it. :good I think he beats Trout but I think its a good fight, and one that needs to be made for the 154lb division.
